Howdy All,
I'm back to Pathfinder after an extended absence and I have found all sorts of cool stuff waiting for me.
One of these is the Hunter class from the Advanced Class Guide, which has really caught my eye (I may have been a big Hunter player, back in my WoW days...).
I love the class, as written, but I think I would be willing to give up some of the abilities to get a watered down version of the Gunslinger's Grit abilities.
I have not been able to find an Archetype that allows the Hunter to do this, so I am turning to the community to let me know if there is such a thing, or if I should try kludging something together on my own.

I don't see any Hunter archetypes that would blend in the features of a Gunslinger.
You can trade half of your Hunter feats to get some Gunslinger abilities by using variant multi-classing.

Gunslinger
A character who chooses gunslinger as her secondary class gains the following secondary class features.
Firearm Proficiency: At 3rd level, she gains proficiency in all firearms.
Gunsmith: At 7th level, she gains the gunsmith class feature.
Deed: At 11th level, she gains the Amateur Gunslinger feat.
Improved Deed: At 15th level, she gains a 3rd-level gunslinger deed of her choice.
Greater Deed: At 19th level, she gains a 7th-level gunslinger deed of her choice.
However, that list seems weak to me.
You'd probably be better off just taking a proficiency with 1 type of gun, then take the feat Amateur Gunslinger (to get Deadeye, Gunslinger’s Dodge, or Quick Clear) much earlier in your career as a Hunter.
