We're back! Bigger and better than ever! (well two years running but you get the idea...)

When: September 15-17
Where: The Fantasy Flight Games Event Center, Roseville, MN

As always we will donate proceeds to our favorite local charity: Tubman

We continue Skål Con's annual tradition: a food drive! Please bring as much non-perishable food items as you can for donation. Desired items would be things like canned fruits, vegetables, soup, and dry goods (pasta, rice, etc.). As always with food items, we can only accept unopened items in their original packaging. For each item you bring there will be an in-game benefit for your characters. Our lodge donated a lot of food last year and I expect us to exceed that amount.

Come join us for our local Starfinder Society kick off event! SFS Developer Thurston Hillman will be on hand to not only answer all yer questions, but even run a few tables of Starfinder. There may be a surprise for attendees that I am not at liberty to reveal.

Clinton Boomer returns for a third year. Watch this thread as we are working on getting a new scenario by Boomer cleared for PFS credit.

Green Blood! Black Rock!

Also confirmed is Jaye Sonia, owner of Storm Bunny Studios, creator of Rhune: Dawn of Twilight, and the creator of Bloodlines & Black Magic (with lots of help from his friends). Come play test Bloodlines &.Black Magic all weekend!

The silent auction returns as well. Last year we had a goblin boon put up. This year? Who knows, but don't you think you should be here to find out?

Card game? Yeah, we got that covered. All weekend long.

Green Blood! Black Rock!

Our goal is to top last year's monetary donation of $7000. We can only do this with your help. If you are unable to attend Skål Con, you can still make a tax deductible donation. Everything helps and we depend on our volunteers and the generosity of Pathfinder Society players to make Skål Con a success.

Let's do this, people!

Hurray!!! SkålCon is best con!!

Can't wait to see everyone again and hopefully make new friends from new places!!

Did I mention any donation to Skål Con is tax deductible?

Scarab Sages 4/5

Except alcohol. It is not tax deductible.

Any Aethera games, perchance?

Wait, are you saying that it is time to plan for Skål Con again? The world has just become a more awesome place.

Hmm

Already booked my room! I'm looking forward to GMing Starfinder to a probably unhealthy degree.

Muahahahaha! I'll be there GMing Starfinder right alongside you!

With so much Starfinder in my future, I may not get to my fifth star for quite a while yet, and that's okay.

Hmm

Dark Archive 4/5 5/5

I'm rather curious to see what mix of PFS and SFS they post. It certainly seems like people are going to be pretty interested in playing (I know I am), but it won't take long to run out of scenarios in SFS. Look on the bright side Hilary between Gencon and Skalcon you might be a 1 star SFS GM before October.

Not quite. I'll only have one game of Starfinder from GenCon ('cause I'm PSA track, and they don't have Starfinder yet) and there's only so many games of Starfinder that I can GM at Skål Con. But I might get my first Starfinder Star / Moon / Planet by the New Year.

Hmm

PS I wish they'd tell us what Starfinder stars were! Everytime I say "Star / Moon / Planet" and then look at my avatar, I feel like I'm in a Lucky Charms commercial.

"Bless my GM Stars, Moons and Planets! Skål Con is part of a delicious breakfast!"

PPS Though if Jack were here, he'd probably add Maple Bacon Bourbon to the recipe.

Wish I'd seen this BEFORE work today so I could have requested the time, but seeing a definite date is a godsend and it will be requested tomorrow.

*debates taking train this time, since non-PFS trip to Pittsburgh was enjoyable*

EDIT: Also time to go through the ancient gaming trove and find Things of Awesome to donate...

Could Skål Con possibly be more awesome?

There's only one way to find out: join us!

As we are premiering the local debut of Starfinder at SkalCon, we will have a full lineup of both Starfinder and Pathfinder available in parallel. How much of each depends on demand and of course the super-secret-not-at-liberty-to-disclose details.

Does that have something to do with the amount of alcohol that we intend to foist upon Thursty?

Was that the day only two of us got burgers because we had eaten all the rest of their food?

Thursty is always thirsty. there be no "foisting" here.

but no.. super-secret-not-at-liberty-to-disclose means.... we can't disclose it...

but we want to.

but we can't.

Meaning we should target levels 4-7. I believe this can be arranged.

Now we just need to draft bribe coerce request for Thursty to conduct another GPK (grippli party kill)...

Silver Crusade 3/5 5/5

HKFT is 7 and I have another one at 3 right now.

Dark Archive 5/5 5/5

Yes, a 4-7 is most appropriate.
