Produce Flame level 1 spell

Rules Questions

How does Produce Flame work? Is it similar to Vine Strike in the sense that it can be added onto each one of my claw or tentacle attacks for 1 minute/level? Increasing the damage of each attack by 1D6+5 (assuming I'm level 6)? I know that by hurling the flames the duration is decreased, but if attacks with a melee attack does the duration remain unchanged at 1minute/level?

All attacks reduce duration by one minute, the wording seems to throw many people off into thinking only ranged attacks cost duration, but look at it again.

Touch spells, that is spellz with a range of touch, can be divered through unarmed or natural weapons, but sadly this is not one of those. This is a 0 range spell that grants you the ability to make touch attacks.

Doesn't increase your damage of existing weapons.

Basically, you gain the option to make either melee touch attacks or ranged touch attacks, each of which deal 1d6+1 per caster level points of Fire Damage.

This spell doesn't use charges and can't be delivered as part of an unarmed strike or natural weapon attack.

It is also notable that Produce flame doesn't grant any free attacks. It's a standard action to create the illumination effect. Attacks with the spell, would need to be made on later turns, using actions as normal.

As written, I'm somewhat unclear if Attacks of Oppertunity can be made with this ability, but I lean towards "yes they can."
