1 hit wild shape large form

Advice

Looking for the hardest hitting Large sized wild shape form when I will occasionally need it to penetrate DR. Could I have some recommendations please? I know of one solid one, the hippopotamus just wondering what else has one single big attack.

Grand Lodge

Hippo is 2d8 + 1.5 STR.

Dire ape with shillelagh. Large Quarterstaff are free.

Hyena, Dire 2d6+1.5 STR and trip

Oh right forgot about the X1.5, that is huge.

I found one Arsinoitherium magafauna, what do you think of that one? Legit?

Grand Lodge

Good find. It is alloted in the additional resources and is not templated. That should work.

Keep in mind at 10th when you can change into huge animals you have the Elasmotherium from Bestiary 6. A gore with 6d6 damage. It also has a form of grab on the horn. It only works on medium and smaller opponents but you do not get the grappled condition. You are also limited on wheat you do with it while it's impaled.

Carnivorous crystal ooze isn't large (it's medium), but it is very hard hitting. You have to be a particular kind of druid to gain access to that type of wild shape, though.

I don't believe you'd get the impaling horn ability from wild-shape, at least not as written.

Scarab Sages

Just note that there might be some GM's who'd remove the capability of the apes to use weapons, though i suppose clubs and quaterstaffs are less likely to be targeted.

As for suggestions to strong single attacks on large wild shapes.
consider "Kentrosaurus" if allowed the "Impaling Strike" bonus to crit mod for
2d6 +1.5 str 20/x3
