With all the info that's currently around it's possible to give some pointers towards class and theme.

What concepts did you have in mind?

even class and theme will be a lot of guess work and we have no idea what the stat generation methods are. New formula point buy seems like it will be the standard but no idea yet what that formula will be.

kinda okay but YMMV my first character gonna be mystic with one level dip to operative for that sweet sweet cloaking device so i can pull sombra out of nowere

The cloaking device requires at minimum five levels in Operative. Not quite a one-level dip.

I expect there will be ways to get personnel cloaking devices aside from a 5 level buy in to a specific class.

Yeah, but khadgar specified dipping into Operative, which is why I felt like I should point out that specific path won't work out.

true, i was more trying to follow up with "but you can still get stealth fields even without dipping"
