Am I calculating my AC's hit points correctly? I have a 6th level Animal Companion with no con modifier but with toughness. How many HP should he have? Could you please show how you calculated.
6th level means 6HD, and animals have d8 hit die, so assuming average is 4.5 per die, or 27 hp. then you get 6 hp for toughness because you have 6 HD.
It's surprising that you have no con mod, most animal companions should what is your animal companion?

The good news is next level your T-Rex's con goes up by 4, meaning two more hitpoints per hit die.
