Fly check in a single round

Rules Questions

I'm reading over the fly skill and it seems a little ambiguous about this. Is a creature allowed to do multiple maneuvers in the same move action (example: make a 45 degree turn left, then a 45 degree turn right like a s-bend or something) and if so, do they make multiple fly checks? one check?

I believe it's one check per maneuver.

Say you have a fly speed of 40'. You want to go 10', turn 90° left (which uses 5' of movement), go 10', then turn 90° right (which also takes 5'), and finally go another 10'. That's two DC 15 checks. If you fail a check you're limited to the usual 45° turn for 5' of movement. If you passed the first and failed the second, you'd go 10', turn 90° for 5', go 10', turn 45° for 5', turn 45° for 5', then go 5' forward.

Yes multiple turns/maneuvers are allowed.

Thanks everyone
