Where is this art from?

Off-Topic Discussions

I was looking at EQ art, Keith Parkinson and I came across this pic and when I searched it, it brought up Pathfinder. Is this from a pathfinder module or something? Thanks ahead of time. I dunno how to embed images, so here's the link

Also, if you don't want to click/paste that, just googled Keith Parkinson mummies

and it's the first google image.

It certainly looks like pathfinder. Why are you asking?

It is certainly in the Pathfinder style, but I don't think it is in any first-party Pathfinder books, as there are no iconics in the picture.

For some reason I'm tempted to say it looks like a cover of one of Gary Gygax's Dangerous Journeys books...

It's "Mummies In The Crypt", by Keith Parkinson

Mummies In The Crypt

It was the software cover of "Wizards and Warriors", published in 1996.

This is insane; I thought that's what it was, but I googled wizards and warriors and it came up with the following:

I remembered both vaguely but couldn't pinpoint the mummies one. Thanks for the help! I can rest easy tonight! Maybe this is why W&W became an EQ replacement for me when I was very young, the box art must have attracted me!

Yeah you are totally right about that. Tried to run DJ a long time ago, but the rules were puuh...

Given that Keith Parkinson passed away in 2005, it'd be unlikely that his art would appear in any PF module per say; possibly having something artwise of his that might've been done for Paizo during their licensed run of the Dragon and Dungeons magazines way back when would be another story though...
