Need Help making an Unfettered Eidolon

Rules Questions

Hi. I was reading the rules for making an unfettered eidolon, but it was very confusing to me.

Can someone help me telling me HD, BAB, Feats, CR and EP for the next build.

Biped Eidolon plus:
-Legs
-Bite
-Huge
-Energy Attacks
-Slam (with the aditional legs if can)
-Martial Weapon Proficiency
-Trample

Thanks

There's tremendous flexibility when building Unfettered Eidolons. Let's work out the EP cost of the evolutions you've specified:

Legs = 2 EP
Bite = 1 EP
Large = 4 EP
Huge = 6 EP
Energy Attacks = 2 EP
Slam = 1 EP
Martial Weapon Proficiency = 2 EP
Trample = 2 EP
Total = 20 EP

Unfetted Eidolons begin with 8 EP and 1 HD. For each additional EP, you add 1 HD. Since we have 12 more EP, this means we have 12 more HD. This gives us 13 HD.

Looking up table 1-2 in the monster creation guidelines, a 13 HD outsider is CR 10.

As a 13 HD creature you would have 7 feats total. Outsiders have full BAB, so that's +13 BAB.

Also, specifically with regards to the slam, you're fine. You can reapply the "free" claws evolution from the biped base form to your extra set of legs, then apply the slam to your arms, and still have free arms available to make a weapon attack.

Wow, this help me to understand this better.

So, This eidolon will have the next

DEFENSE

AC 24, touch 9, flat-footed 23 (+1 Dex, +15 natural, -2 Size)
hp (13d10+78)
Fort +14, Ref +5, Will +8
Defensive Abilities evasion

OFFENSE

Speed 40 ft.
Melee bite +24 (2d6+13 plus 1d6 electricity), claw x2 (1d8+13 plus 1d6 electricity), slam (2d8+13 plus 1d6 electricity)
Special: Trample
Space 15 ft.; Reach 15 ft.

STATISTICS

Str 37, Dex 12, Con 22, Int 7, Wis 10, Cha 11
Base Atk +13; CMB +23; CMD 24
Feats 7+ Multiattack, Simple Weapon Proficiency

I used the Stats modification for the Huge form from the eidolon evolution page.

Quote:

Large (Ex)

Source: PRG:APG

An eidolon grows in size, becoming Large. The eidolon gains a +8 bonus to Strength, a +4 bonus to Constitution, and a +2 bonus to its natural armor. It takes a –2 penalty to its Dexterity. This size change also gives the creature a –1 size penalty to its AC and on attack rolls, a +1 bonus to its CMB and CMD, a –2 penalty on Fly skill checks, and a –4 penalty on Stealth skill checks. If the eidolon has the biped base form, it also gains 10-foot reach. Any reach evolutions the eidolon possesses are added to this total. The eidolon must be Medium to take this evolution. The summoner must be at least 8th level before selecting this evolution.

If 6 additional evolution points are spent, the eidolon instead becomes Huge. The eidolon gains a +16 bonus to Strength, a +8 bonus to Constitution, and a +5 bonus to its natural armor. It takes a –4 penalty to its Dexterity. This size change also give the creature a –2 size penalty to its AC and attack rolls, a +2 bonus to its CMB and CMD, 10-foot reach, a –4 penalty on Fly skill checks, and a –8 penalty on Stealth skill checks. If the eidolon has the biped base form, its reach increases to 15 feet (10 feet for all other base forms). Any reach evolutions the eidolon possesses are added to this total. These bonuses and penalties replace, and do not stack with, those gained from becoming Large. The summoner must be at least 13th level before selecting this option.

The ability increase evolution costs twice as much (4 evolution points) when adding to the Strength or Constitution scores of a Large or Huge eidolon.

The Unfettered Eidolon entry in Bestiary 3 has its own rules for the Large/Huge evolutions that don't reference the APG -- although I don't think their effects are too far off from the APG version.

True, i found that part and the accumulative bonus and penalties are the same.
