Lycanthrope gods or patrons

Scarab Sages

So one of my players contracted lycanthropy from a werebear and that werebear is part of a group who polices other lycanthropes trying to prevent evil ones from murdering innocents. They live up on the border of the land of the linnorm kings and varisia where it said lycans are more socially tolerated. What I'm wondering is are their any gods or emperor an lords or good such entities in Golstion that good or neutral lycans venerate specifically. I know werewolves worship Jezelda but didn't know if they had a good equivalent.

In Golarion, the empyreal lord Ashava is associated with good lycanthropes.

If this were less setting-specific, I'd recommend taking a look at La and Grashar.

(Full disclosure: La is one of mine.)

Certainly, you're free to create your own, or use something you grab here, like Vutava's deity. Golarion specifically has a lot of minor deities besides the major ones typically mentioned. I'm just mentioning it, in case you're timid about homebrewing a deity and throwing it in.

Second thought: My Selardi might be relevant, come to think of it. She's neutral, and her focus on madness and the full moon might appeal. (In my game, Shelyn is a Taldan goddess who hasn't made much inroads up north.) If you "spread" Selardi's worship into your game world, it wouldn't take much to make lycanthropy one of her focuses.

Selardi (CN), Dancer of the Night,
is the goddess of dance, insanity, the moon, and music.
Her domains are Darkness (Night), Liberation, Madness, and Travel.
(I wish there were Music or Moon; travel isn't as flavorful!)

Selardi's holy symbol is a silver crescent.
Her favored weapon is a sickle.
Her worship is concentrated in Belkzen, the Lands of the Linnorm Kings, Numeria, Ustalav, and Varisia.
She is depicted as a Shoanti girl, whirling in a dance, laughing.

Children, bards, and anyone who dances or runs while laughing are Selardi's primary worshipers, while the simple, demented, & senile are called her “suitors.” Her worship services -- outdoor dances under the full moon -- often draw most of a rural community in good weather. So her clerics build no temples as such, but create open-air sites for their dances: wide, crescent-shaped sets of white stones, preferably on a hilltop outside town. For vestments, Selardi's clergy wear dark clothes with a silver crescent brooch. She has no holy book, although Shoanti and Varisian bards have repertoires of songs that praise her or the moon, or that favor someone mad, or that are simply meant for dances.

The omen of Selardi's pleasure is a sudden burst of beautiful music. If she is displeased, it will be discordant instead. Certainly, Selardi is sympathetic to the curse (and periodic madness) of lycanthropy, especially when afflicted. And will be pleased when a lycanthrope is trying to dance with others -- not kill them.

{EtA: I need a personal story for Selardi -- with a Shoanti or Varisian feel. Anyone want to help with inspiration? Or with the domains?}
