So even if a different spell gives resistance, deflection, or morale bonuses, you would still find an effect from protection from evil (mostly the saving throw and summoning thing).

Anyway, I will just take a guess. Assuming extended spell is liberally used, you could get up to 40 round/level spells (1 round/level x 20 levels x2 from metamagic) and 400 different minute/level spells (10 rounds per minute, 1 min/level x level 20 x 2 from metamagic). Anything longer than that makes the question of time moot when you are just aiming for a record, so assume as many of them as you can manage.

So this mostly becomes a question of what class gives the most varied buffs, slots, and then trying to find the optimal combo in your limited spell slots. Anything that lasts less than a minute should be abandoned to give priority to other, longer lasting buffs.

You might have to also take into account things like build. Wizards could get more slots with opposition schools, but then they seal off parts of their spell list for the purposes of this exercise (sure, you can just use more slots..... butthat is counter productive for what we want). Clerics might have an advantage for slightly better base slots, along with the option to grab more variety of buffs through domains.
Δaedalus wrote:That is true. A lot of buffs don't stack.
