Inner Sea Monster Codex vs. Inner Sea Bestiary?

Product Discussion

Is there a difference between these two books? I'm seeing a variety of titles and covers with the same description of the content on Amazon. Which one is more current, or what's the difference?

Inner Sea Bestiary is a Bestiary... a collection of new monsters (though some have now appeared in the RPG line's Bestiary 6). Each gets a 1 or 2 page write-up.

Inner Sea Monster Codex takes a few monsters and presents versions of them at various levels with various classes, as well as adding some new Spells, Equipment, and other rules elements. So about a dozen races get several pages of variants and new toys.

Amazon seems to often screw up Paizo product descriptions and the like. Always go with the Paizo description if in doubt.

Inner Sea Bestiary: The book is a collection of monsters common to the inner sea region, the main setting of Pathfinder RPG. It is similar to a traditional bestiary.
Inner Sea Monster Codex: The book gets some inner sea monsters and give us examples of how they would work as NPC-like characters, with class levels, specific gears and spells. It's more similar to the NPC Codex or the Monster Codex.

The only thing this two books share is the fact that they are focused on monsters common to the Inner Sea Region or Golarion itself, the core region/planet of Pathfinder Campaign Setting.
