So I wild shape into a Dire Flytrap, with my reach of 90ft I grapple my foe. It says I can only move my victim 15ft per turn closer to me. Is this a special case where I don't need to pull the creature next to me and I can just keep them grappled at 90ft away from me? With the other plants and other reach creatures generally when you grapple them dont you pull them automatically adjacent to you? Can someone explain this dire flytraps reach and how the grab feature would work for it.
This would appear to be a 3pp written by someone who doesn't understand the grapple rules. Make sure your GM is ok with you using this 3pp as source material at all and then ask them how they want to adjudicate it.
