Psychic (Faith Discipline) question

Rules Questions

Dark Archive

If you select the Faith Discipline for your Psychic, you get the ability to sacrifice a spell slot to spontaneously cast a cure(or inflict) spell similar to a Cleric, with some limitations.

It does SPECIFICALLY say that the spells are NOT on your spell list for any other reasons.

Can you use Phrenic or Major Amplifications on these spells though?

For example, I could easily see times you would want to use Mindshield in conjunction with a Cure spell, but CAN you?

Thanks.

Not on your spell list means you can't make or use (without a UMD check) a Wand of Cure Light Wounds.

Since you cast them as spells, not SLAs, you can use your normal spell casting enhancers (except metamagic that would change a spell level) including phrenic amplifications.

Agreed with Psuedonym. Mindtouch on Cure Light Wounds is the favored tactic of my psychic when he's trying to surreptitiously gather information while offering clerical services; since they forfeit the save on CLW, they don't get one against Mindtouch.
