New Vendor at the Con! What do you want to see?

PaizoCon General Discussion

At PaizoCon2017, I will be setting up a small vendor table, focused on terrain. Chairs, tables, treasure chests, rocks, castle walls, etc. Cast from dental stone, painted and sealed, ready for use.

Legal stuff for those who care:
I'm a licensed distributor of Hirst Arts products (paperwork pending), currently trying to get a Lady Sabelle Designs license in time for the con. Also, I asked Jeff Alvarez if this thread was okay, and he said go for it.

So, the question is, what sort of things would YOU GLORIOUS PAIZONIANS want to see at my table? This terrain is meant to compliment Pathfinder Battles miniatures, and generally be compatible with other terrain company products like Dwarven Forge, Tablescapes, etc. Sadly, I'm putting max effort into inventory, so I haven't had a chance to take many good photos of what I have to offer. Will try to remedy that asap, but a quick search for Hirst Arts will bring plenty of images up for basic reference.

I have a lot of products planned to bring, but I want to give my potential customers an opportunity to tell me WHAT to bring.

Things that feel like solid choices from my end:
Treasure Chests
Barrels
Tables/Chairs/Benches
Rocks/Boulders
Bookcases
Beds
Armoirs/Cabinets/Desks
Low/damaged walls
Fountains/Wells
Campfires

So, opinions? Ideas? Requests? I'm not planning on large or complete structures, as they tend to be situational. I do have a modular dungeon system, would people be interested or has that ship sailed with recent Kickstarters? Custom orders are certainly a possibility.

Basically, I want to sell what you want to buy. So... what do YOU want?

Tables are the easiest to draw, but also so easy to ignore - those would be nice.

Benches would be a bit too much detail for me for most situations. I could see Barrels. Campfires are actually rare, but would be handy.

Bookcase/armoir/cabinet - I'd go for the most generic of these.

For someone who owns dungeon forge, the things that I find I am often lacking tend to be the dressings, so from your list... in the order I would be looking to buy them... (+) indicate new suggestions from me.

Campfires
(+) Tents/Ruined Tents
Treasure Chests (+) Sacks spilling over, bulging and tied at the top
Fountains/Wells (+) Town Statues/Monuments
(+) Gallows/Stocks/Town Notice Boards
(+) Market Stalls
(+) Wagons/Gypsy Caravan
(+) Pews, Church large candelabra, altars, altar ornamentation (sacrifial blades, blood bowls, religious books, etc.)
Tables/Chairs/Benches
Bookcases
Beds
Armoirs/Cabinets/Desks
(+) Pillars, especially fancy gothic type ones.
Barrels (+) Wooden crates (various sizes)

As an aside for those looking for pillars - cake tier supports work very well when painted to look stone like ;) - and they are relatively cheap and easy to get from most baking suppliers.

Thanks for these responses so far, they have both confirmed some ideas and given me more!

Quick facts I foolishly forgot to put in the opening post: all the terrain is made from dental stone, a significantly stronger cousin of Plaster of Paris. While very durable, it doesn't have the raw indestructibility of materials like Bonesium or Dwarvenite. It is also hard enough to damage itself, so storage should involve proper stacking and padding so pieces don't slide around. While I am aiming for an affordable price point and high durability, these are ultimately hand-crafted and will last longest if treated as such.

I've got a few photos (with some prices) up on the Black Bard Studios facebook page, so please take a look here. I freely admit, the page is very rough, this whole thing is a bit of a mad rush. I suppose it falls into the "If I don't try this NOW, when will I?" category. These photos are not the limit of what I'm bringing, by any means, but I'm more focused on production right now than taking pictures of product. I will be adding more as it goes though!

Still happy to hear any other requests or desires! All of this is a big new step for me, and I'm grateful for the input you have to give!
