Fun ways for [redacted] to use the Sihedron Medallions.

We just finished Hook Mountain Massacre, so all of my players now have a

Sihedron Medallion. I was wondering if you have any fun examples of how you've used them to spy on your players.

Karzoug doesn't notice the party until the end of Book 4, when he addresses them "during" Mokmurian's demise. From that point onwards, he can start keeping tabs on the party.

As a side note, I used another Paizonian's idea that the possibility of Karzoug using the medallions as a direct connection to the party was a hidden feature (akin to a cursed magic item). When the party obtained their first medallion (Nualia's), no one rolled high enough when identifying its properties to find out about the hidden feature. Since then, I simply described any other medallions found as "another Sihedreon medallion", and the party didn't think to check again with Spellcraft (despite now being good enough at that skill to catch the hidden feature). :)

A word of warning if you and/or your players use HeroLab (or something similar): that system gives out spoilers. Apparently the Sihedron Medallion's item information reveals the hidden feature. :(
