Do you lose all dodge bonuses when flat-footed even with uncanny dodge?

Rules Questions

Do you lose all dodge bonuses to your AC when flat-footed even with uncanny dodge or improved uncanny dodge?

How can you be flat-footed if you have uncanny dodge?

Well, generally speaking, if you have uncanny dodge you "can't be caught flat footed"

Uncanny Dodge (Ex): At 2nd level, a barbarian gains the ability to react to danger before her senses would normally allow her to do so. She cannot be caught flat-footed, nor does she lose her Dexterity bonus to AC if the attacker is invisible. She still loses her Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized. A barbarian with this ability can still lose her Dexterity bonus to AC if an opponent successfully uses the feint action against her.

If a barbarian already has uncanny dodge from a different class, she automatically gains improved uncanny dodge (see below) instead.

So, unless there is an ability out there that specifically says, "you can make a character with Uncanny Dodge Flat Footed", you will never need to worry about it.

With uncanny dodge you can't be caught flat footed in the first place and improved uncanny dodge has nothing to do with the flat footed condition.

Double ninja'd...

Let's say someone cast wish and the wish was "make the barbarian with uncanny dodge flat footed anyways". Then, if in that crazy circumstance, you would loose your dodge bonuses.

But barring something crazy like that you will never be flatfooted with uncanny dodge.

Ugh, I can't believe I forgot that uncanny dodge removes the worry for flat-footing. I need to stop drinking captain morgans at 8:30 at night. Sorry for the blunder people. I'm going to go hide in the cube of shame. If anyone needs me, I'll be in the cube. OF SHAME!

What is the consensus of opinion about whether uncanny dodge works whilst using acrobatics on a narrow ledge?

It cancels anything that says "you are flat footed". It doesn't cancel "lose Dex bonus".

Yes, definitely, switch to Capt. Morgans at 8:30 in the morning instead. ;)
