I was thinking of throwing my hat in for Eberron, but things have been weirdly busy for me lately (which will end in a week or so) and I'd feel like a jerk to be the third person to apply when there's two people applying for two positions.
I think I'll hold out for the Zhentil Keep thing, though I know there's going to be a lot of competition for that.

Being selected because there's nobody else is not really being selected :P But seriously, nothing should be on the way of you playing what you want to play and having fun. Apply and let the GM decide.

Does the Talent for Mysticism Minor Ascendency allow us to get a Scion Talent, even though normally only Clever and Mighty Godlings get them? Or are we banned from taking this Ascendency at all?
Edit: auto-answered the very moment I saw some talents state "if you're an eldritch godling...". Seems they had the possibility in mind already.

Growing up in the depths of Sharn can lead to a short life and not reaching teenage years. For the most part, only the most skilled or luckiest seem to make it into adulthood. Dalaan counts as both. Abandoned as an infant, he was found and 'adopted by the leader of one of the 'gangs' that kept to the shadows of the city. For the first ten years of his life, he was part of many a con or theft. However, as he grew older, he drew the line at more violent action. Dalaan's forte seemed to be in moving about the city, across the rooftops and towers making him the go-to member of the gang for burglaries of locations not on street levels.
About five years ago, he and some of his gang members encountered a former soldier of the Reidran military, drunk and ready to pass out. When one of his companions got a bit too violent, encouraging others to do the same, Dalaan refused, instead choosing to defend the man. With Dalaan's help, the man chased off the others, and after a long discussion once the man became sober, Dalaan found a new home with him. Impressed by Dalaan's spirit and enthusiasm, the older man taught him to use the Zalaat, and introduced him to the Chakram as well. Now, looking for his own path, Dalaan has begun looking for work wherever he can.

Recruitment for Eberron
There are 4 submissions:
1. Electric Eye,
2. Kaine Skyreach,
3. Dalaan Kalas, and
4. Jiri the Bomb.
The good news, originally each table consisted of 7 PCs. Through RL trials, the groups slimmed down to 6 each.
Neither table has objected to inflating the numbers to 7.
Therefore, I can allow all 4 submissions in!
The "bad" news. One team is ALL Sharn, for the forsee able future. That Table needs 3 PCs. The outside of Sharn table needs one PC. That table is going to be playing in Shadows of the Last War. If you've already plated that, that Table is not for you.
Applicants, please let me know your Table preference!

I would like to do outside of Sharn, just to expand on Dalaan (since he's been in Sharn all his life :) ). However, I wouldn't have a problem with the all Sharn table if someone else would fit better.
