Ah... But 5e... >_<

Let the gods pray they make it better... At least it isn't 4th.

Yeah, I wanna do a Pathfinder Forgotten realms, and I'd be a Worshiper of either Mask, Eilistraee, and a Drow rouge if course. Unchained and sporting a hand crossbow.

IF, and it's a BIG IF, I was to split the Gunslingers group into two separate games - one with the original Recruitment intent in mind (Kingmaker/Iron Gods) and the second just a sandbox exploration of the "Waste(Lands)" would anyone have a preference for one game over the other?

If that happened, and IF I was in a position to pick which group I got into, it would have to be the Iron Gods/Kingmaker combo. I like the idea of exploring the Wastes, but I would want it to be part of that narrative: to find something to answer the Numeria problem, or to perhaps reconquer part of it Kingmaker style to form our own kingdom... something along those lines.

Oh both are interesting, I'd love to do the original idea. Something about our characters becoming high-tech "space marines" in power armor is just really appealing.

No preference

I'm intrigued by the Wastelands concept, and it seems like it would be a better fit for Mylon.

Hey guys, long day, SUPER tired. I will update Submissions first thing tomorrow morning (about 10 hours from now)
:)

If Iron Gods really takes you to the 'power armour space marine' thing, then I'd probably rather take the other way. I love space marines, but it's just not the way I envision Rob.

Verdant Wheel

Probably Wastelands for Kiana.

Wait... did I just turn down Iron Gods? My favourite thing in Pathfinder? Gah. Kiana, I had a chance to make a techy gunslinger and YOUR COOL CONCEPT RUINED THAT FOR ME.

Aahaha, sorry friend! Not really though, I wanna go see some Wastelands!

Mind you, I'm sure she wouldn't mind being in Iron Gods either.

If you ever bleeding well FINISH me...

I would most definitely prefer the original idea.

Also, my character now has a backstory.

I would probably prefer the original idea as that's what I built for eventually, but I'd be down for Wastelands I suppose. I would also not really want to go the 'space marine' route as Ozzy is more a rough-and-tumble kind of hero. I didn't think Iron Gods ended up going that route so much. If Iron Gods would end up going that direction I would much prefer a Wasteland adventure, although the modified Kingmaker is an enticing option.

Either one is fine, I guess, but preferences shift based on how the games would go.

From what I remember, the space marine stuff is there if you want to dabble with it... but its perfectly acceptable to view it with superstition and smash it. I could see Erissa going into the more techy rifles and guns... not sure how much else she would gravitate toward off the bat.

Mira for the original concept. The Waste is tempting, but not enough to win the decision.

Do you mean... "Heresy"?

Liberty's Edge

I'd very much prefer Iron Gods/Kingmaker

Did you make the mistake of looking at the Chicago Chronicles books again? Lot's of good stuff there. :)

I would allow Merits and Flaws from any version of the game IF those Merits and Flaws were not introduced in 2ED.

A little late, but just in case this is still helpful for your Vampire campaign...

DeathQuaker's Big List of Merits and Flaws (from DeathQuaker's woefully non-updated website). The ones marked "VPG2" are from the VtM 2nd Ed Player's Guide, and the ones marked "most" are ones that have versions in most major oWoD player's guides, including VtM 2e.

Disclaimers: these are paraphrased descriptions and mechanics (no text is copied from the books) and some of the mechanics may have been adjusted or revised for my personal use. Includes "humorous" asides that a 20-years-younger sleep-deprived version of me made that aren't actually funny. A lot of creature specific merits/flaws are not listed. Use with caution and of course with your (the Storyteller's) discretion and permission. However, since it's awful hard to find the sourcebooks these days I hope this may be useful. If it isn't, no problem, and forget and forgive my intrusion. Have fun y'all.

SUBMISSIONS IS UP TO DATE
Including the deadline change, adding Teiidae's and OmniChaos's submissions, adding Fury and Sapiens submissions to the Complete list, and a few other, minor fixes.

Also Note: I added in everyone's vote under their submission to make it easier to find them all, HOWEVER! I had to summarize your vote so my words might be a bit different then what you had intended :(
As such, mind just taking a look at your submission and then yelling at me if what I wrote is not to your liking? ;)
I also added a link to the post with your vote as that is better than my summary.

My submission is for the runelords game, just to clarify.

No worries on the Ravenloft game. Like I said in the PM, it was a risk going so melee focused in an already melee heavy game.

An evil Forgotten Realms game could be interesting. Have to read up on the more villainous side of the Realms. :) Hmmm...

When it comes to PbP, I'm fine with either Pathfinder or 5e.

Hi! Gobo Horde/Alex here :)
SO every time I tried to write something about his backstory I kept using "Joseph" instead of "Alex". In my mind his name is Joseph and its stuck, so why fight it? :(
So name change! My character is now called Joseph Bonkers! (I initially didnt want the cartoonish last name but oh well, cant fight it :P)

That said, I got a large and decent chunk of backstory and the vast majority of my crunch done, so I think I am ready to go :)
In the next bit, I might do continuous bits of tweaking, aside from that, here is my Metal-Armed Submission :)

@Reolus Noakes. I removed you :)

Traditional Eberron Races are (obviously) allowed.

25 Point Buy.

We are using Background skills.

If you wish to use a supplement just ask.

Yes Psionic Characters are welcome (Ultimate Psionics).

Each character will receive a bonus Feat of their own choice over and above the base level 1 Feat.

I will use a Hero Point system of my own devising.

Starting with 2,000 GP.

Current party consist of an Oracle, a Dragonmarked Blade Adept Arcanist, a Wilder and a Bloodrager.

Recruitment will be open until June 9.

I am Recruiting for 1 Slot.

I would very much be interested in a PF Realms game. I have no desire to play 5e, tried it once and while it was fun, it's definitely not the system for me. Tis why I didn't try to apply to your Ravenloft game.

So that's 3 that would be interested in FR. I'll see if any more support come in over the next few weeks as I would not look to get that up till mid-June of July at the earliest, if at all.

Waste(lands) seems to have some but weak support so another maybe.

This will be a busy week closing out 4 Recruitments... :-)

Just curious, how would you handle the wasteland adventures? Would it be just the sandbox aspect of kingmaker or are you thinking more trench warfare against the undead and laying waste to Tar-Baphon's plans?

Here is my reptoid gunslinger, sorry for all the work Submissions. You're doing great btw.

Xocualtuatl

just need to polish up his backstory and do his appearances.
See you space cowboy.

Is there a place where to have a look at those Eberron rules for Pathfinder? Only thing I remember is they have a train and there's a golem race.

This is the Eberron site that we use for the game. :)

Yep, they do got those plus some elemental-powered airships and a two year truce on a 100 year old, continent-wide war with four surviving human nations plus an unanswered mystery as to the fate of the non-existent fifth nation. ;)

Thank you!

No prob. :)

There's also the Dragonmarked Houses, which has corporate style intrigue among these unique magical merchant enclaves with naturally occurring magical tattoos, plus the other races besides the Warforged (the golem race), such as Eberron Changelings (Doppleganger-blooded Shapeshiter versions as opposed to the PF hag-blooded women version), Eberron Shifters (lycanthrope-blooded versions of PF Skinwalkers), and Eberron Kalashtars (dual souled humanoids who use Dreamscarred Press type PF Psionics). ;)

Sandbox no APs just whatever my sick mind dreams up.

Undead, Mutants, Morlocks, Merchants with wild ideas, Orcs etc. etc.

I would be interested in a FR game depending. Would we convert 3e stuff for pathfinder or use pathfinder core? I love the FR's lore but I do miss some of their stuff as well. :)

Absolutely convert FR 3.0/3.5 materials. Plus Pathfinder.

Well if we get to convert material, I'm either thinking of an arena fighter of thay or a walker of the waste.

There is so much to the realms, so many avenues to go down.

All PCs will begin as 0th level in Zhentil Keep circa 1357. You can still be FROM another region which allows you to be familiar enough with that region to select said PRC but the first 5 or so levels all action will take place in and around Zhentil Keep.

I have 0th level kits I'll be using and all PCs will start with one (maybe two) area Feats in addition to one trait.

Sounds good to me storyteller, I need to crack open my old splatbooks and visit the candle keep.

Questions about the Eberron game:
-Is the Bloodrager a Shifter? In general, are there too many melees/casters or anything in particular?
-How is the general alignment of the group oriented?
-How kosher is 3PP stuff in this case?

For now, what comes to m ind is a Shifter Druid (PrC Moonspeaker) or Monk, but let's see.

think I'm all set for the Hells Vengeance

Answers:

1. The Bloodrager is a half-elf.
2. I think the group is fairly well balanced though they lack a dedicated skill monkey so a submission with such a dip may be something the PCs might like to see. The Arcanist certainly can handle some of the skill monkeying.
3. Chaotic Good/Lawful Neutral alignments.

Note that the bulk of this Tables' adventures will be in and under the city of Sharn. Not that a Druid cannot be useful underground but there won;t be much wilderness action for the most part.

VERY interested in a FR campaign!! New to PF and the site but played 2E ages ago and 3.5 for years. Very big fan of the Forgotten Realms. Hopefully this idea blossoms into something more!

Refreshing myself on Zhentil Keep, despite myself getting a concept going in my head too. xD

So much potential with the Zhentarim involved.

Between tonight and tomorrow, I'll organize the responses to Hell's Vengeance and Rise of the Runelords.

Villain Points -

The FR Villains are blessed (or are their enemies cursed?) by the Dark Gods.

Each Villain will start with 1 Villain Point, at each level they will gain a fresh set of them. Unlike Hero Points/Action Points the points are not used to increase their own dice rolls but instead are used to reduce their foes dice rolls.

Roll a 1d6 to reduce DM NPC roll by that corresponding number. At 11th level, the pool increases to 2d6. Multiple Villain points cannot be used against the same NPC at the same time.

Is their a reference for these kits to explain some of the special stuff? Also pathfinder does not have d4's for HP even in NPC classes is that an intentional change from their d6 minimum?

Correct me if I misunderstand anything, been a while for FR. :)

P.S. I like the villain points. Curse those goody two shoes! xP

Xocualtuatl updated.
(Out of curiosity... You are an alien from another planet sent here to subvert humanity but your spaceship crashed, leaving you stranded. You now take on the badge of sheriff and go around hunting/killing people while hiding behind the law, but your lyin' eyes (drawback) are a dead giveaway?
What do you expect to do when someone asks you where you are from? And no ranks in disguise when you spend your entire life in a human disguise?
Not trying to be mean (really not trying >_>) but I think you might have made an oversight ;)
Luckilly you still have a bit of time if you want to make some edits)

@submission: Change Shape (Su) A reptoid can assume the appearance of a specific single Medium humanoid. The reptoid always takes this specific form when it uses this ability. The reptoid gains a +10 racial bonus on Disguise checks to appear as that type of humanoid. This ability otherwise functions as alter self, except the reptoid does not adjust its ability scores. A reptoid can select a new humanoid form by spending 1 week preparing itself for the change, but can then no longer assume its previous humanoid form.

Now that being said, I did forget to add the disguise section and I thank you for the reminder. Think of it as as Xoc assuming the original lawmen he killed, it's not technically lying, rather it's a believable lie since he looks and sounds like him.

That being said, let me polish up the page a bit, fix some mistakes, add a description and we should be good. It was possible that he changed his persona during the great waste wars. A lot of young men died, lots of potential covers.

Alrighty, more questions Eberron wise:

-Since it got lost on your replying (it seems you hit Reply and waited some long time), how kosher is 3PP here?
-How is your approach to Summoners (Unchained-only, any problem with any archetype, you know, anything)?
-What are the skills you're looking at? Skills, unlike droid, are numerous and varied - are you looking for social skills, knowledges, field skills, all of the above?

No, if you have a question about some of the special stuff fire away and I'll explain, it's a mix of 3.0 & 3.5 and homebrew stuff.

Yes, it's an intentional change because this was designed for a 3.5 game. The 0th level interactions should not yield any combat situations, it will essentially be RP prequel.

My table top PCs liked the Villain points as well :-)

Well clearly I am looking at the apprentice that dies with a strong breeze or by a halfling's dagger hilt. ;P

What does Membership 1, Mentor 1, and Artifact 1 do?

1. I prefer to keep the game game Eberron flavored so here I'd probably look at limited 3 PP stuff.

2. I know there is a summoner Archtype that drives DM's crazy here on the boards. Chained or unchained is fine. I would likely allow it but if I/C it became game breaking I'd PM the PC and see what we can do to tone it down if necessary.

3. Disable Device and Knowledge Dungeoneering spring to mind.

Ah yes my Backgrounds and Drawbacks system.

Membership gives you probational status in a faction or guild within the Realms.

Mentor provides you with a person more powerful and influential then yourself who took you in or trained you in some way.

Artifacts 1 is access to low level magical items (at this level generally potions or other 1 use wondrous items).

I may or may not use the full background system for this game. Have yet to decide.
