When taking a feat "School Familiar", the familiar gets the ability to use the master's arcane school abilities (Specialty Stowaway).
Question # 1: Does the family get its own pool to use these abilities?
Question # 2: Can familiyar use the ability to "Dimensional Steps"?
Question # 3: Does the familiar use its bonus characteristics when calculating the amount of use of the ability per day?
A school familiar can use any granted abilities of its master’s arcane school that have a limited number of uses or rounds per day, expending twice the number of uses or rounds as usual.
At 8th level, you can use this ability to teleport up to 30 feet per wizard level per day as a standard action. This teleportation must be used in 5-foot increments and such movement does not provoke an attack of opportunity. You can bring other willing creatures with you, but you must expend an equal amount of distance for each additional creature brought with you
1. It uses the same pool as the master. Each time the familiar uses the ability the master subtracts two uses/rounds from his available pool.
2. Up to your GM. Strict reading is "no" since it is not a set number of uses or rounds per day. However I don't have any problem with allowing it (using twice the normal distance per use).
3. No, see #1. Uses come from the master's pool.
