Scenario replay question

Double checking. Got a character that died his first session on a non-evergreen scenario. Does this mean I can't play that scenario again with another character?

Obviously, I can play the core version, and I could apply a GM credit to another character, but am I really prevented from further playing if my character dies so quickly (didn't even get through the whole scenario).

If wondering, the scenario in question is Trial by Machine. If that one is evergreen for 1st level characters, that solves my issue too.

If you received a chronicle (which you should have, even a 0/0/0 one), then you cannot play it again without a star use.

Trial by Machine is not an evergreen. The only season 6 evergreen was (iirc) The Confirmation.
