Mace also works... no not pepper spray the things clerics use.

Edit: (I know but just in case)

Maze might be even better. With his INT he'd be away for a while xD

Good Morning, everyone.

I woke up with an awful urinary infection today. I made a quick analysis and it seems to be pretty serious. It hurts as hell.
Tomorrow I'll celebrate my birthday spending half of the day at the bathroom xD

Drink a lot of Cranberry Juice. It's supposed to help.

You guys and your rough birthdays I swear...Oh right I forgot how much mine have sucked at least its usually events surrounding and not the day of.

my birthday is September 14th so 9/11 and my father passed away like 1 week after my birthday. so yeah...birthdays... I think ill just not tell people this year that seems to make them pass without incident.

My birthday will be in October, but I don't think I'll enjoy it very much. I'll probably be ill.

I believe cranberry juice works... in a way. It is diuretic so you urinate a lot and helps to clean. I am using a diuretic infusion for the same reason. It has already helped before.

*Yays internally, for remembering something helps, even if he didn't remember the reasons why ^^*

I also recommend the cranberry juice option. It's worked for everyone I know to help get rid of UTIs.

So, has anyone other than me noticed that the post count doesn't equal the actual posts on this page?

As for taking antibiotics I am waiting for the results of the culture and antibiogram to see what I should take. Last time I had an infection caused by an E. coli which was resistant to amoxicillin so I don't want to take something that could get rid of all my normal flora and leave the pathogen unharmed.

I have already taken a look at the sediment of my urine and it's not heavily colonized, but I have red and white cells on it (a lot of white cells), so let my little ones make their job until I know what kind of antibiotics best suits me.

I was about to say the same.

The most long lived spam thread?

Think I may fry some for lunch.

Oh, okay then. Probably nothing to worry about, then. I hate the idea of us breaking the Internet. :)

Careful that can lead to grappling a succubus and we all know how that thread went.

Hugging is not so that different to grappling, is it?
I guess I could end stuck on a hug for 6 years.

Interesting. Given that thread hasn't ended yet, tell me, do you have precognitive powers perchance? If so, please don't spoil the end. It's been too much fun so far!

That thread is unlikely to end. People are just having too much fun.

You wouldn't believe it if I told you. Which I won't.

Leaving for a Doctor's appointment. Probably a pre-surgery consultation.

Good luck John.

Yeah, good luck, John.

Just got back from the Doctor's, and I've got good news. This type of tumor is one that responds best to radiation. So, no chemo for me. And no being sick from it. No definite date for the surgery, as the required endoscope is in a different hospital. Going to have a pointed, directed conversation with Corporate's Benefits department. The Hospital says that the Insurance provider says I have no insurance. If so, why is it still being deducted from my pay? I will find out. Oh, yes I will.

Glad to hear that you won't have to do chemo, John. Good luck dealing with the insurance woes.

I am glad you don't have to go through chemo! That are definitely awesome news!
I hope the issues with the insurance get solved soon but your health comes first.

*sniffles slightly*

Good news mostly then John.
May you get an understanding insurance representative to hear you out (Yea, I know, a penguins ice-skating in hell kind of thing...)

*Offers pat on the back and a beverage of your liking*

Thanks, Kjeldorn.

Getting to bed after a day that wasn't specially good (quite the contrary) but still had its good things.

Have a good afternoon, evening or whatever time is there.

See you tomorrow, people!

By the way, people at my job loved the cookies.

Good morning everyone.

I need some help finding a really good coleslaw dressing. I'm not looking for a mayonnaise base; what I really want is oil/vinegar/spices, with maybe some sugar. The online dressings I've found have overwhelming amounts of sugar.

Anyone got a go-to recipe for coleslaw dressing?

I don't measure this exactly, but my coleslaw recipe is...

1/4 head of cabbage, sliced thin
1 carrot, grated
1 small red onion, minced

Dressing:
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup cultured buttermilk
Salt & pepper to taste

Dump everything in a large bowl and toss.

Wait til you see what happens if you let one tiny mint-root into the garden.

DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN

Liberty's Edge

I was tearing up parsley yesterday cursing over how quickly it grew to shade out the pepper plant, and then smelled my hands and came to the happy realization that it was a bunch of volunteer cilantro. That's one plant you can never have too much of.

Good Morning, everyone.
