...says:

"...you may add 1d6 and the Acid and Poison traits to your checks..."

It may be a non-native speaker thing, but I'm not sure how to read the above. I know why it isn't "...Acid OR Poison" - you would be able to only add one of the traits; however, do I read it as:

- "you may add 1d6 and BOTH the Acid and Poison traits"

or as

- "you may add 1d6 and EITHER OR BOTH the Acid and Poison traits"

Whichever you think is correct, how would you word it if you wanted to convey the other option?

I read it as all or nothing.
Either you add 1d6+Acid+Poison, or you don't add anything.

The most concise way to express your second option in English would be: "you may add 1d6 and the Acid and/or Poison traits", but Paizo never uses that phrasing, as far as I can tell.

I agree with elcoderdude, you either add all 3 things or you don't add anything.

Hi Longshot: wise guy, good try, but no cigar.
So if the bane is immune to poison, you don't get to have the opportunity to add 1d6.
Seems fair thematically: the snake can only fight by poisoning the opponent.

The Skull & Shackles 6 spell Vengeful Storm already has shown that you can add multiple elemental traits to a check. It adds Acid, Cold, and Electricity, in addition to a whole lot of dice.
