With Starfinder on the horizon, I though it might be fun to do a quick adaptation of the Silverhawks to the Pathfinder rule set.

..... yes now what are the silverhawks?????

wait wait... just kidding.

cyborgs for sure. with wings that are strong enough to glide and rockets in their feet and shoulders...

yes I did say glide, iirc they never did use their wings in a planet only in space so they would not be able to fly and their rockets were only big enough to alter their directions and to slow down....

as for classes...... notaclue.

does depend on what they are skill wise and all.

"Planet" is a pretty fluid term on the show, as any hunk of rock in space gets treated as having earth like traits. And movement in space is treated the same as movement in atmosphere on the show. That said, there are several instances of a Hawk using their foot jets to take off. They are uniformly weak flyers, with not very good maneuverability, but they do take off from the ground.

Most of the Hawks appear to be rangers of some kind, with a few notable exceptions (Stargazer and Condor are investigators, Bluegrass is a bard, Hotwing is a sorcerer, etc).

Easiest way would be to use the Aegis from DSP.

its been a long time since I watched any of that show.

and for steelwill and heart. I dont see them as rangers.

not sure what I'd see them as....

They and Hardware puzzle me. Technomancer, from Starfinder, seems like the best fit.

The guys at Skortched Urf' Studios already created a sourcebook covering the Silverhawks, albeit with a lot of reskinning. For one, here they're a race build called Voidsparrows, although treated as cyborgs.

The bad guys were pretty neat. I liked the guy worth the tuning fork. Windhammer?

I'm still waiting for a Thundercats/Silverhawks/TigerSharks crossover. Any RPG setting about the Silverhawks should definitely include 3rd Earth and Water-O as locations with all the accompanying races and lore.

3rd-Earth is weird. At first blush it is a straight fantasy setting with animal themed races (Catfolk, Lizardmen, Gnolls, etc) but when you dig deeper you start to see it's really post-apocalyptic with a mix of Numeria style tech and magic, and Mum-ra is this epic level unique undead that can only really be countered by the Sword of Omens artifact. Then you have to deal with whether you are going with the original run or the more recent reboot.

So fun, but complicated. No reason you can't use all that along with the Silverhawks though.

I would really need to re-familiarize myself with TigerSharks before touching them though. It has been a long time.
