The Creeping Queen's Strangler, or how do I use Vermin Shape in an efficiently asphyxiating manner?

Advice

So I came up with the idea for this character after looking at Mazmezz's Demonic Obedience: by performing the world's worst/ weirdest acupuncture session on some poor schmuck, yoy get a huge (+4) bonus to grapple and CMD. Later on down the line, you can use Vermin Shape II as an SLA.

I know that most of the forms in Vermin Shape possess the grab ability, which allows them to initiate grapples as a free action on attacks (with another +4 modifier!) along with some other nifty tricks depending on the form. I can already think of a few:

  • Giant Mosquito (Grab, Bleed, Blood Drain, Disease and a good Fly speed)
  • Giant Mantis (Large with Climb and Fly speed, Lunge, Grab and the ability to act normally during surprise rounds)
  • Giant Assassin Spiders (Climb speed, can impale and suspend foes, 1d4 Strength poison)
  • Belostomatid (Large, Swim and Fly speeds, Grab, can paralyze with a bite attack and can hold its breath)
  • and Xenopterids (Climb and Fly speeds, Blood Drain, Grab, 1d4 Dex poison, can entangle foes.)

The reason there is a thread for this is because I wonder if I can apply the abilities of the Brawler archetype, The Strangler, while I am in Vermin Shape. I'm thinking I can because I still possess the knowledge of how to do them, it's whether I can still choke the life out of a jerk with bug limbs instead of regular hands.

Also, is the third boon still applicable for a non-caster character? It specifically says it's a spell, so I bet I still have to pay out the nose for materials, since it isn't an SLA.

Yes, you can use class abilities and feats in non-humanoid and polymorphed forms. It was suggested before PF that one means of fixing the polymorph problem was to make the polymorphed character use only the stats of the creature shifted in to rather than their own, but those writing PF took a different path (mostly; there have been noises about shadow projection working that way.)

The third boon has the notation (Sp) which means it's a spell-like ability. A non-caster can use it just fine.
