I came up with this very random monster idea, not sure if the CR should be higher or not. Just check it out and give any suggestions. Pink Dragon

I would seriously suggest changing that breath weapon. It's a bit 1st edition.

The Once a day breath weapon? Or the Cold Fire one?

Mainly the Str/Con penalty.

Huh, yours are different than mine. Fiendish gives creatures a reddish tint(or did in 3.5) so my idea of a pink dragon was just fiendish template on a white dragon. Briefly thought you were a kindred soul.

I have that so the breath weapon does something that could affect combat.

Maybe make it a euphoria gas then, that weakens those affected? There's not going to be much call for a "you're a girl now, and girls are weak" breath weapon in the modern era.

Statistically speaking, women generally are weaker than men, but I will change that to the euphoria.

Good to have some free pink dragon stuff out there. ;)

Just was wondering on the "background lore" behind the pink smoke since, by RAW, it really doesn't have any further in-game effect on male characters apart from adjusting the gender information on a character sheet, aside from all that euphoria stuff. And would it also turn female characters to males? What about creatures without any gender (a golem, maybe)?

Well, I created this on a premise of it simply switching the gender, if you can think of any other lasting effects that might hinder/help, that would be nice. I only want it to affect men, as it is a pink dragon, and it would have no effect on creatures without gender, or force them into a female form.

Heh, at least the tentacled aberrations will still be safe from them pink dragons... ;)

Although there's a small part of me that wonders if there exists a bizarro, reverse-pink(?) dragon out there that wants nothing more than to have their breath weapons just raining out men/males (so to speak)?

Interestingly, in the past pink was associated with boys, as it was a toned down version of red.

I would have just used a white dragon with the half-dragon (red dragon) template. :D

so is the pink dragon effected by it's own breath? is it a magical or natural creation?

I'd suggest a slight tweaking of the feats. They're pretty typical for out of the book dragons, but honestly they always miss something important.

Ditch something and get Flyby Attack.

One of the reasons that many believe dragons to be under powered is that GMs typically play them such that they land next to the party and become a fat melee beast. The thing has a 200' Fly speed. It should use that to its advantage until the party deals with it.

This combination actually makes good use of the Vital Strike chain you took; it can use the Vital Strike while making an Attack action in the middle of its Fly move.
