Pathfinder General Class Sorting Quiz

Homebrew and House Rules

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen. Newbie GM here all about to start a free roam sandbox campaign, Decided as a cool idea I'd make a little personality quiz of sorts. Basically, it gives you a generic class type and a list of classes that fit said type to choose from, it's a great tool especially if your using all the expanded books on classes (There's like 30 now and it's daunting for newer players). So, BOOM. Class Sorter is born!!!

Feel free to give feedback about quiz either here or on the site.

The window is super small sop you may have to zoom in your webpage, sorry about that There's nothing I can do to fix, But I'd really appreciate to know what more experienced PF members think, THANKS!!

This seems more like a personality quiz rather than a tool that lets you figure out what class you want to play.

Well, I ran through it with my favorite character in mind, and got...

Your result: Blasters

The Arcane Arts is your livelihood, your life, you thrive and survive by the ethereal, the weird, the mystic, the unknown. Magic is your lifeline to success.
Classes: Wizard, Alchemist, Kineticist, Arcanist, Oracle, Magus.

Now, I had carefully avoided picking any suggestion of wanting material components. And yet, Wizard made the list, and Sorcerer didn't!

OH SNAP. Thanks for spotting the Typo! Sorcerer was meant for that list as well. Thanks!

I got told I was a Mender (druid, paladin, cleric, etc.) which is fine, I like some of those classes but when you frame it as "person who fixes what's broken" you're sort of presenting the class as something other than what it was. People are going to see "mender" and "cleric" and think "okay, I'm going to heal people" which, outside of a few very specialized builds, is not a very useful thing to do in combat and a something quite a few very combat capable builds can do out of combat.

So I might try to phrase that differently. A standard action to cure light wounds in the middle of combat is one of the least useful things a cleric can do at level 1.

Got Augmenters (stuff like Bards, Skalds, Occultists, Mesmerists - roles tending more towards support) and I think that's pretty accurate.

Text is very hard to see.

Neat! Refreshing doesn't reset the quiz, though. Maybe add a button at the end to send you back to the beginning for re-takes?

So I took this test, I got

Your result: Augmenters
What good is a fire without kindling? a Rifle without ammunition? Your the cogs in the machine that keeps it running, what helps the group survive, the tools to help save the day.
Class: Sorcerer, Druid, Occulitist, Oracle, Bloodrager, Mesmerist, Witch, Summoner, Bard, Skald, Inquisitor, Alchemist, Investigator.

-Why is Wizard NOT on this list! Wizards are very good at augmenting themselves and the party. HELL I was ACTIVELY TRYING to pick the "wizard" option every time!

-Why is the Bloodrager on this list? They do not get spells till 4th level and being minor casters do not get that many spells as they go. The Bloodrager should be included with Barbarians, Warriors who like to get emotional and smash things

-Why is the Druid(or any divine caster) here, seems like an odd thematic choice. Especially considering I ACTIVELY AVOIDED picking any of the 'divine' options.

-Summoner seems like another odd choice due to their very limited spell list and general lake of versatility.

I LIKE this idea, do not get me wrong, but it defiantly needs work. The classes need to be grouped together differently. Maybe having more options for results might help?
