Cleric spells

Rules Questions

New to the cleric- the spells I prepare if I want to use it more than once does it have to be prepared more than once? Or since its prepared you can cast it as many times as you have slots?

Shadow Lodge

You can cast it once for every time you prepare it, except for Cure/Inflict spells. So, if you want to cast a given spell twice, you need to prepare it twice.

So would restoration lesser be a 'cure' spell?

No. "Cure" spells are any spell with "cure" in its name.

If you are a 1st level cleric, you get one spell slot plus a number of spell slots based on your Wisdom score which you can use to prepare spells from the cleric list, and one domain slot into which you can prepare ONE of your domain spells of the appropriate level (You can mix and match spells from different domains at different spell levels, but only one per slot.) You are correct in that if you want to cast a spell more than once, you need to prepare it more than once. You can only cast what you have prepared, except in the case of cure or inflict spells, which are determined by your alignment or deity (Or if you are a neutral cleric of a neutral deity, you choose at 1st level and it can't be changed.) Depending on your choice, you can "sacrifice" a spell slot to cast a cure or inflict spell of that spell level.

Thanks to all for the help and clarification.
