My good ole 360. :-)

Stealth is always your friend. The enemy that can't see you coming deserves an arrow to the knee.

~grins~ I feel your pain. Having said that, it does run well on the X-Box 360.

For you X-Box One players, what mods have you loaded?

I've tried a variety of mods. For more gameplay, I recommend both the Forgotten City and Falskaar.

For gameplay/immersion, I recommend any of the Immersive Citizens/Wenches mods, including Deadly Wenches. Haven't tried Forgotten Wenches.

For perks, there's a mod 'Better Vanilla Perks'. Not to be confused with the Ordinator perk mod. The Better Vanilla Perks is worthwhile; I found mods to get me more perk points (a 50% booster and one that gives a point for a bounty).

I also have added some for graphics, whether it was Adorable Females or Red maples of Skyrim (yes, both). I've had a better night sky mod. Plus I strongly recommend the 'glowing ore vein' mod if you like smithing at all.

Then, for giggles, I have Cybertron as the moon!

Let's see: unlimited sprinting. Face masks, blindfolds, and capes/cloaks. Got all of those. I also have had mods with smithing supplies. Modified Serana's appearance and married her clone. Got one that lets jewelry add a very small modifier to your armor rating.

Also, for more giggles, I have the Vampire Knights of Volkihar and Lustmord mods. Then throw onto the pile for more insanity I can craft weapons from Fate/Stay Night and get Sabre of that series as a follower.

There's over 3800 mods for the XBOne, and I've barely scratched the surface.

Personal recommendations: the unlimited sprinting, perk point for bounties, a perk overhaul mod. Immersive Citizens. Unofficial Skyrim Patch is a must. Then explore some options. I haven't found a mod that makes a decent home in Winterhold yet, though I've seen some. I hear the Live Another Life is really good as well.

Sat everyone down with the Grey Beards and told them to shut up and stop fighting while I kill Dragons. Threw the Thalmor out of the room, then laughed as Serena took her chair

After my daughter's performance (Grease, she's a cheerleader and beauty school whatever) and I get done running around and picking people up, I think I'll take another stab at Sky Temple surrounded by a f!%$ing army of Foreskins and an Elder Dragon.

Third time's the charm. Or so i've heard.

I learned how to summon my Storm Atronach (whom I shall name Halle Berry, for obvious reasons) so of course everything is an Elder Dragon this or MegaDraugrCaveBearUltraZord that.

Penetrating the upper layer of Arnflufft or whatever is sitting on top of Blackreach or whatever they call the underdark out here.

That's a long stretch of underdark. Pick up all the crimson nirnroot you can, you'll need a bunch for a quest (hint: the quest starts by going into one building near where you enter. Second hint: it does respawn given time). Nice variety of things to fight. Mine the geodes!

My wife's response to this...

~rolls eyes~ Oh Lord!

Good to know about the Crimson Nirnroot.

While this will be my first Legendary Edition foray into Blackreach, I've been there twice before.

While incredibly beautiful, I actually quite hate going there so I might put it off once I find a lift or easy way out of Arnstuft.

What do you mean by Legendary Edition? The disc with all the DLC included?

Yes.

Ah, ok. I read that Cap'n was playing on 360, but thought the new version on Xbox One was called Legendary Edition.

So then I assume you're aware of

Vulthuryol's dinner bell?:
The great golden disco ball hanging above the falmer fortress calls out a dragon if you shout at it.

Legendary Edition is also available on 360. :-)

I downloaded the Legendary Creatures of Skyrim mod for my PS4 version of Skyrim and it drops a couple of pretty nasty "boss monsters" into Blackreach. One's a Falmer Shaman with crazy powerful fire spells and a deadly sword attack. The other is The Boiler, a massive Dwemer Centurion with enchanted weapons for arms. I'm going to try to lead one to the other and see if they'll duke it out over who gets to kill me. Five Septims on the shaman!

The mod scatters 8 extra tough monsters onto the map and rewards you with unique weapons and spells for defeating them. Killing the Falmer Shaman just gives you a ton of rare ingredients and access to some more soul crystal geodes, but destroying The Boiler gives you its arms in the form of a powerful dwarven warhammer and battleaxe. The Right Arm of Blackreach (warhammer) absorbs Magicka and inflicts Magicka and Shock damage and the Left Arm of Blackreach (battleaxe) inflicts an extra 30 pts of damage to falmer.

Special Edition, not Legendary...

Yeah, I had to look that up. Still haven't broken down and bought a PS4, so I'm still on my 360 with the DLC.

So close to Blackreach!

Which is good because I'm getting maxed out with loot.

"For once in my life Fry, I think i've stolen enough!" - Bender, Futurama.

As in a just took out the dwarven centurion and the two morons fighting over who got to press the button first.

Spoiler alert a!*@%~#s! It was me. But don't worry! You won't live long enough to tell anyone.

One guy at least ran away but then I found him , and he was all like "ah ha! I have found you!" to which I promptly Unrelenting Force shouted him against the wall, where he crumbled broken and dead.

I thought we were going to be friends. >:-(

The Elder Scroll is mine!

This time I shut off all my other quest markers so they lifts didn't trip me up.

Oh, and who took on a Dwarven Centurion with only his Ebony Flaming Greatsword and stomped the s&#$ out of it?

This guy!

Go SRCY! GO SRCY! GO SRCY!!!

I won't be able to play much beginning tomorrow. The anime convention I volunteer for is this weekend.

Have a good time.

Yay!

That sounds fun! :-)

So, I went to Shilmista or whatever it's called.

The s#+&ty burned out island with a serious bug and reaver infestation.

I think you'll like Shilmista (or, as the locals refer to it, Solstheim.) There are some really keen benefits to gain from exploring the island including some good shouts, automaton and smurf "pets" and an awesome house that looks like a horseshoe crab.

Apparently, the creator of Muzak is trapped on the island, or in Neverland, and he's having his followers build Mall Of America.

Personally, I think he needs to drop the Patrick Stewart voice and stop dry humping dragons.

So Muzak can't find the chewing tobacco town.

Reminds me of when I was in high school and my cousin tried to get me to try it and then threw up.

Good times!

Hello, my name is Captain Yesterday, and I was tentacle raped by some giant fishy a@$&+## after I was told to shout at his pillar.

So, there's that.

Tentacle raped twice more at the Earth Stone.

I'm starting to suspect Muzak isn't as benevolent as he never claimed to be.

Also, if I keep shutting down construction on the Mall of America, dude is gonna be pissed.

Get used to the tentacles till you put Miraak in the ground. Hermaus Mora ain't better either.

Of note: stahrim makes excellent armor if you can find an ancient nord pickaxe to mine it with.

Also, there's a mage on the SE corner of the island who will, with sufficient enticement, teach you make staves.

Yes, there are dragons and draugyr here. Rieklings are rather annoying. Keep 50 of their spears.

Don't leave till you fight the biggest, meanest frost giant in the land. You'll need to figure out how to summon him though.

If you like Daedric arrows, the smith in Raven Rock sells them.

I like whatever arrows cause the most damage.

On the plus side, there's all sorts of tall ruins with people perched on top ready to get shouted off. :-)

So, what are the docile flying Jellyfish hanging out along the shore.

Caught me a Dragon
Had it fly me to the land of Drauger Deathlords

so...many...death lords.

Oh! I hate that place!!! So much!!!!

Dragonbone are the best, made from firewood and dragon bones at smithing rank 100. Daedric are 2nd best, so when you're far enough along, that smith in Raven Rock will sell them sometimes. Same with the fletcher in Solitude (in lesser numbers).

Nearly killed me over the weekend, at level 71. Admittedly I was goofing off with an ebony warhammer and no skill in 2-handed weapons, but still.

Damphall Mine is cleared.

Found a Staff of Revenants. Which I plan to use to hilarious effect against the Reavers.

Killed me a boar.

Must've been blind because I walked right into it before it attacked.

Now I have boar meat.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

You can stop now. You are boaring me.

~RUNS~

Hush up you! Or it's back to the chittin fields for you.

I'm funding some dude's dig.

Pretty sure it's gonna end in me having to exterminate a s++* load of Draugr Overlords.

Your foresight serves you well. Make sure to look everywhere for gear named something like Ahzidal's _________. You'll understand when you find the boots.
