Amazon Kindle?

I wish it were possible to buy Paizo books from Amazon in Kindle format. The PDF format is good, but Kindle format would be more convenient.

The design of the books prohibits this. Kindle doesn't handle the images/ maps well, and without these the page numbering and formatting would be off. Not to mention that by default kindle doesn't include page numbers, so loooking for something on page 90 would be really tough

You CAN load PDFS into a Kindle. Use the Lite versions of the PDFs if the option is available.

I found a pathfinder app for my Kindle that has all the rules and classes, archetypes, and races. It was free on the app store.

I know. I have downloaded PDF files onto my Kindle. I just wish that Kindle format were available. I regret that it is not, but at least now I understand why.

DarthCoyote:
Thanks. I'll look for that app.

Both are wonderful names, by the way.

That app is just what I needed. With that and a few PDFs, I should be all set.

Thanks, all!

Is that app for the Kindle or the Kindle Fire? Those are very different devices, as one is a dedicated e-reader and the other is basically an Android tablet with heavy modifications. Anyone with a tablet, iOS or Android, can get utility apps for Pathfinder, but no such apps exist (to my knowledge) for the Kindle e-readers. Kindles don't really run apps, that's not what they are designed for.

Mine is a Kindle Fire.
