My two ships in Star Trek Online were;

USS Redemption (crewed by people who'd been rescued from the Borg, in a Starfinder game, would work well for a ship crewed by a motley mix of ex-pirates, members of sketchy races like dhampir or tieflings, or those with 'dubious' classes, such as infernal bloodline sorcerers or bones oracles or whatnot)

USS Debauch (crewed by Deltans, a race that's all about the sex. Well, that and math, but nobody ever talks about their love of math... In Starfinder, a ship crewed by devotees of Shelyn, Calistria, Arshea, etc. could be a floating brothel, the HMS Sexytimes)

Having the ship name have something to do with the crew and their focus is definitely my go-to.

Childhood's End
Seventh son of a Seventh Son
(The) Trooper
(the) Wicker Man

Spoiler:
I used a lot of Iron Maiden songs as the name of pirate ships in PF. I think they should still work here.

Most of the following can work with or without "The" in front. These would be good for a Salvage ship.

Bucket of Bolts
Rusty Spanner
Galactic Tow
Loose Rivit
Bent Screw
Stripped Screw
Hacksaw
Hammer
Negative Offset
Missing Micrometer
Broken Caliper

I love the 'space junker' names.

'Our Loosely Enforced Lemon Laws'

Reminds me of an old Star Trek episode;

"Forgive me, I misspoke. When I said that the Enterprise should be hauling garbage, I meant to say that the Enterprise should be hauled away *as* garbage..."

I'm actually gonna go ahead and get started on the spreadsheet. How should we organize this? Right now we're looking at 2 20x20 tables (20 rows/columns for the use of a d20), or should I just do a 10x100 for a d10 and d100?

Just have a list of 1000 ship names, then roll 3D10 for the number. Or you could do something like have a list for how many words are in the name of the ship, is one (or more) of the words a color/god/place, etc. But I think that would defeat the purpose of all of these donated names.

Just have "X" lists of 100 names. Right now we've got what, close to 600? So 6 lists. For every 100 names, add another list. When you've got 10 lists you're done.

If the 595 count was right then 633 now I think.

Little House on the Void
Nightmare of Chicxulub
Argo II

636 now.

"x" lists of 100 names, where x is 10, makes a 10x100 table. Also, a d100 is just 2 d10s, so a d10 and a d100 is the same thing as 3 d10s.

So basically, we're in agreement on my 2nd idea.

My Star Trek online ships are all except one named after Great Old Ones. Not sure that's appropriate here :P.

That said I'll add the one name I've used for a lot of ships:

The Nehallenia

Edit for some extra names:
My PFS pirate's man o' war vanity ship is called: The Drunk Tribute (in honour to Cayden)
My wife's pirate's caravel vanity ship is called The Raging Daisy (the captain is a barbarian, who's mother was a barbarian named Daisy :P)

Our Skull and Shackles pirate group currently has two ships named:
The Siren
The Harpy
