Souls for Smuggler's Shiv to Plunder and Peril and then Tempest Rising Advice

Hello everybody,

As my title suggests, I will be running these adventures in that order. I understand that Souls is a little out of sorts as it is from Serpent's Skull but would really like to follow this path as I highly enjoy book ones setting. I was wondering if anyone has had experience going from Soul's to Plunder or Souls to Skull and Shackles and any advice you could give integrating these adventure paths.

Also if anyone has advice to ending Skull and Shackles with after Tempest Rising or shortly after with a good ending that doesn't leave huge cliff hangers I would really appreciate it. I hate running anything with players beyond level 13.

What you'd probably have left unsolved is the spy thing from Tempest Rising. What I'd make here:

Spoiler:
At the Free Captain's regatta, make Harrigan a more obvious rival. Make clear that he is way too much interested in winning a place at the council. Maybe have some of Zarskia's letters hold some more obvious clues against him.
Then you can take the whole island thing off, and make your players go directly for Harrigan the traitor.
You can lower the CR for the encounters for that part to match the PCs or completely rewrite them.
And that's it. They foil Cheliax plans by killing their spy. There's no invasion. They have saved The Shackles. The end.

Thank you very much, I appreciate the advice and think I'll follow it. It still has a nice and dramatic ending while leaving it open for the PC's to imagine how their lives continue.
