Home Game: Ask your GM.
PFS: It would ought to be the same as replacing the feat altogether, so the full time period.
Makes sense. If you can have Rapid Reload (light crossbow) and Rapid Reload (musket) as distinct feats, then you'd have to retrain. (Or pour gunpowder all over your crossbow.)

I'm looking to retrain a feat on one of my characters (it's rapid reload, I'm looking to alter which weapon it is applying to), does the fact that I'm changing just part of the feat changed the time it takes to retrain?
As written, changing from rapid reload (light crossbow) to rapid reload (heavy crossbow) requires the full retraining time.
Ask the GM, though, they might not care. Should probably role play spending time practicing with a new weapon, with or without feat retraining rules.

Never fear, the PRD is here! Retraining.
Oh yeah, if it's a home game, ask your GM. He may have other rules he goes by for retraining...and if it is PFS, check the PFS Organized Play Guide.
