White Mage Arcanist location

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

I was browsing through Advanced Class Origins, and I noticed that in the back where it lists locations that certain archetypes might commonly be found, the White Mage Arcanist is common in the City of Brass, on the Plane of Fire.

This intrigues me. Why is it common there? That archetype doesn't seem to be particularly related to fire or anything of the like. I looked around on the pathfinder wiki, and the only thing I found was Yndri Ysalaa, one of the leaders of the City of Brass who's title is The White Mage. But she's a sorcerer, so I don't think it's related.

Just something I find very curious.

I'm really not sure. When it comes to places touched by divine healing power, the City of Brass really doesn't spring to mind. When it comes to extraplanar cities maybe Armun Kelisk, the capital of the Djinn trading federation, or one of the countless cities in the Upper Planes.

Obviously its because my Wizard/Pathfinder Savant from Legacy of Fire

Spoiler:
spent the final battle spamming Heal scrolls on the rest of the party, and then post campaign set up shop on the City of Brass because she now owned a palace there and could get away with it.

Serious answer, it makes no sense.

Would you believe me if I guessed that they'd copied another table for the formatting and accidentally forgot to replace that?

I would, in fact. But at least now I have a nice random character background idea.
