Spells affected by Honeyed Words

Rules Questions

The wording of the regional trait Honeyed Words is

"You receive a +1 trait bonus on Diplomacy checks. In addition, you receive a +1 trait bonus to the DC of any charm or compulsion that does not provide ongoing control and results in peaceful acts, such as calm emotions, sleep, or a suggestion to lay down arms."

So what that includes seems a bit fuzzy to me, even with the examples. Does anyone have a better way of putting it, or a list of what spells it includes? Does it include Confusion or not? Charm? E.t.c

Charm is ongoing. Lasts more than a turn.

Confusion could result in attacking friends. Not peaceful.

Command is a one round spell. They may not be told to commit harm. It works.

Forbid action stops them from taking certain actions. One round duration. It works.

Charm is not ongoing control. It only makes the target more friendly to you but does not give you control over them, such as Dominate Monster.

The Trait calls out Calm Emotions and Sleep, which have a duration of longer then 1 round, so your assumption it has to be a 1 round duration is incorrect.

Charm Person would work.

But sleep doesn't give ongoing control. Because it has no "control". Same with calm emotions. So of course they work.

I admit I was thinking domination when I said charm though. That's my bad.
