Entangle in snowy areas

Advice

Does this spell work in snowy areas? Like the plants coming from beneath the snow?

If there are plants under the snow, then yes. However, snow's presence usually means the plants have little above ground left, especially since they are food to critters.

Depends on whether tree roots get included in the vague description of 'other plants'. I could certainly mentally justify it, and the trees stick around even in winter.

Of course, that requires you to be near trees. The middle of a frozen field is not going to give you much to go on.

Agreed, I'd say low-lying branches in wooded areas would qualify, as would roots close to the surface.
