as of late is nonexistent. For that matter, it seems practically dead in the whole state. A search on Warhorn will show only 2 events/games for the entire year, which are the conventions held up in Morristown.
Is there any interest in PFS left in South Jersey?
Secondly,
I was at MAGfest last week and it was totally awesome. All the players there for PFS were great people, and I'd like to give kudos to all the GMs that were there. They did an excellent job in making the game(s) fun and engaging.
While there, I finally reached level 12 with my Alchemist. Now I'm ready to take the next step with him (Eyes, Seeker, etc), however with the aforementioned situation, this might not happen for a while, if at all. I'm not sure what to do at this point.

As the organizer of MAGFest, I'd just like to say it was great to have you here. I'm really happy to hear you had a good time!

There are games occurring but most times they are in North Jersey.
As some posters above have noted they can be regularly found on meetup.
specifically Here
As the former VC of New Jersey I can tell you games were always hard to come by. Lack of game stores and the commuting times made it tough. Even if you had a steady group they would usually set up their own private gaming group for AP's and such.

So I've checked out meetup as per suggestion, and found a couple of home games somewhat close, but still no PFS in the area.
Bernardsville and Femmington are 1 hour+ drives for me unfortunately.
If I knew there was more interest in PFS in South Jersey I'd suggest Top Deck Games as a meetup spot, based out of Westmont.

About the same for me, from the opposite direction, but it's what I've got.

Perhaps you can try to have a few small events and try to see if you can build on them? People in home games might be willing to try PFS, so their GMs can get in some time playing characters.
I have always been a firm believer in build it, and they will come. If there is a gaming store, talk with that store manager. Put up flyers. If there is a general Meetup group in New Jersey for Pathfinder or RPGs, see if they would be willing to list your event. Heck use facebook or other media to spread the word. If you can get enough people for that first event, the group can build slowly from there.
Good luck! I hope you can get PFS going near you.
(Whether your group takes off or remains spotty, consider joining the thriving PFS community online too. One way or another, we'll get you playing!)

I find that this is a good approach as well. I took over as organizer for Lightspeed Hobbies in Northwest Indiana and we have kept going.
Sometimes, we are the ones who have to build something. Perhaps the Venture officers in the area or the nearest ones can help set something up with the original poster.
