"This is public and she is doing it. So never is not necessarily the right word. Sandpoint is a small place. A guilty pleasure? Probably. Nobody is getting hurt though so that's a good thing. I am just thinking out loud. It isn't my cup of tea, but if people enjoy it, and nobody get's hurt, how bad can it be?"
"I don't know." she replies watching through her fingers. "Sarenrae has no teachings about that. But it definitely is Tauriell's cup of tea. And that elven goddess Calistria who promotes that is also the goddess of trickery and revenge."
"With all that I have a hard time seeing it as a good thing."
"Well I agree it isn't good, but is it bad?"
"I guess not?" Gwenhwyfar replies not sure if her answer is correct.
"I think this is one of those grey areas we were talking about earlier. They just keep cropping up don't they?" Jimmy says with a smile
"My lovely black and white world is turning into fifty shades of grey." Gwenhwyfar sighs.
"It's better this way isn't it?"
Noir Destinée jumps on the table and parades in the view of Gwenhwyfar with her tail standing straight up. "Meow!"
"It's good that I'm not forced to divide all the world into black and white. But I can't see where it's good for me that the world isn't black or white on it's own." Gwenhwyfar replies pensively stroking over the back of the cat.
"This is surely more interesting though?"
"Stories of heros fighting evil are interesting. Tempting is more what I would use to describe that."
"If told by a decent bard, but we know that most of those stories are romanticized after doing it our selves for a while."
"Maybe we should ask Niamh to polish our heroic deeds in that way. And then she sings them to us every evening until we only remember that version of events." Gwenhwyfar replies looking at Niamh.
Niamh looks back and grins. "That would be a good way to betray yourself. When are you going to bed?"
"About sunset. Why do you ask?"
"That I know until when the first song should be ready." Niamh replies taking out her journal and her pen and starts thinking.
"But please make sure it's not too violent. That might give me bad dreams." Gwenhwyfar requests. "Reality gives me enough of that." It shakes her as she thinks what they faced at this day alone.
"For you I will integrate sparkling unicorns and rainbows." Niamh replies as a joke.
"Thank you very much." Gwenhwyfar replies. And to Jimmy she asks "Shall we go back to the manor? It's probably late afternoon already. I'd like to have some time in the park enjoying the sun. I've been in dark holes long enough for now." she adds.
"That sounds like a brilliant idea to me." With a smile he stands and pulls Gwen's chair out for her, offering her his arm as we readies to walk
"I'm staying here." Abomentolor explains. "I want to talk to these two gnomes after they're done with their show!"
A dirty child comes running into the room followed by one of the servants of the establishment. The servant catches the child and starts dragging it out again.
The child starts screaming and kicking "Let go! Ow! I have a message for Jimmy Fiddle. Let me go you mean brute."
The servant continues to drag the child back out unimpressed.
Jimmy hears his name and turns to Gwen, indicating for her to wait a moment. He quickly walks to the guard, places a hand on his shoulder, and asks "Whats the matter?"
"Sir, this is an upscale establishment and no playground for kids from the street. I'm helping the kid out to where it belongs." The servant explains with an iron grip on the child's arm.
"But I have a message I shall tell to Jimmy Fiddle in the Gilded Cage." The kid protests.
"Let me escort him out, since the message is for me it seems. Could you have someone bring my armor from the massage parlor?" Jimmy says to the servant
"No Sir, it's my responsibility to see him out. But you're welcome to come along."
"As for the armor. Would you like to put it on again? Because then it would be better to do that in the massage parlor than outside." The servant suggests a bit perplex. He then continues on his way to the exit with the kid that now walks calmly along smiling at Jimmy.
"Hmm, perhaps I should do that. Please wait for me outside." Jimmy says to the boy, "Gwen, would you mind helping me again?"
"Of course." Gwenhwyfar replies and together with Jimmy she moves to the room and helps him into his half plate. As the kid is waiting outside and there is no danger awaiting on the way home she simply slaps the armor on Jimmy. "I guess you don't mind me doing that in a hurry. As I plan to get you out of that again in short time." she says with a smile.
"In that case I certainly am not complaining."
"Shall we go now and see what that kid wanted?" Gwenhwyfar asks as she closes the last strap.
"Lets." Jimmy says clanking out of the room and towards the exit
As Jimmy and Gwenhwyfar come out of the exit of the Gilded cage the kid comes run over from the other side of the road. "Mr. Fiddle, Sir, I have a message from a large elf woman with orange hair. I shall tell you that Tauriell went home to the manor. And she said you'd give me two copper for bringing the message." The kid smiles happily and holds it's hand out.
"Thank you for the message."
"For delivering your message so well, you get a silver instead." Jimmy says giving one to the kid
"Wow, thank you!" the boy says staring at the coin his eyes almost falling out. Then he runs away before that crazy guy reconsiders this and wants that coin back.
"Shall we head home now dear?"
"Yes please." Gwenhwyfar replies taking Jimmy's arm.
Jimmy walks back to the manor park side by side with Gwen
"Shall we go to our room first to get you out of your armor?" Gwenhwyfar asks.
"Why not. I doubt I need it in the park."
As Jimmy and Gwenhwyfar enter the house and walk to their room.
"Whats with the coins on the table?"
"I don't know. How much money is it?" Gwenhwyfar asks.
"That's the reward." Tauriell shouts from her room.

Niamh shuts her journal as she finished writing the unicorn hero story. She stands up and tells Abomentolor "Bye then. I'm going home."
Niamh walks to the Manor and sits down in the middle of the labyrinth cross-legged and takes out the zither. She plucks the strings. And pushs the fingerboard to get different tones.
After a while that becomes boring to her and she packs it away and joins Jimmy and Gwenhwyfar.
"Which reward?"
Tauriell sighs and pulls herself out of the bed. Coming out of the room and leaning in the door frame she explains "For saving those guys from becoming derro lab rats."
