And while I'll give it a try, it's not a good sign that they completely changed a lot of the core premise of the show - going from insurance company to division of Wayne Enterprises.

Van Wayne is kind of interesting. This is a guy who wishes he was lving Bruce's fake life.

Pilot was pretty by the numbers though; Introduce Main character to new situation and people, Insert Crisis, Characters struggle and give up, Main character has brilliant solution to crisis, Cast members bond

Unfortunately, I felt the show failed in the most important way - it's simply not funny. I watched the pilot, and after 10 minutes of the 2nd episode I gave up.

It upset my roommate but I agree. It's simply not funny. I'll give it a few more episodes to find its feet but I don't have high hopes.

I really don't understand who the show is for. It's not involved enough with the source material to appeal to genre fans and it's too weak as what is (comedy) to appeal to a general audience.
