What kind of action is required for a fighter to activate the "Warrior Spirit" Advanced Weapon Training?

Is this a free action, since it doesn't specify any kind of action? Is this a swift action like the Magus's Arcane Pool which it resembles? Is this a standard action like the Occultist's Legacy Weapon, which it resembles?


Standard. SLAs and (Su) abilities default to a standard action.

standard. it's a su with no text for activation. therefore it goes to the default action for su which is standard. they'd have needed to put the text to make it a swift, and that's really stretching to think they forgot/cut the text for space

Using Supernatural Abilities requires a standard action by default.

Inquisitor? Swift... Magus? Swift... Warpriest? Swift...

Let’s unnecessarily bone paladins and fighters by making it a standard, you know, since everyone is already arguing over who gets to play the fighter! Also, let’s make an incredibly meh advanced weapon training option by not making it relevantly strong as a swift action activation. Unless you’re needing to enhance to bypass DR, a standard for a +1 ATK/DMG is a waste of your turn. By the time you could get this ability the Wizard is already nuking at 10d6 minimum. Thank god they’re keeping the martial classes in their place though.


The bane weapon property alone makes this ability “worth it”. The fact that it can be increased by outside factors like gloves of dueling makes it a very desirable option.


Yup, it's very good. I especially like that it can grant any equivalent property rather than one from a very small list of acceptable properties.
