You can make your excuses to the judge, buddy! You're off to the big house!

But I've also killed the local regent! Am I the new local regent? I suppose I should punish myself... OK! My penance will be to hunt more nasty dragons!

PS: If that doesn't work, run the hell outta here and leave a dead silver draconian behind.

Not the dead draconian/Valinor lookalike trick again!
I guess it could have worked before you left a trail of them behind you.
You must be getting old because you're turning predictable!

Gip resolve to make it through a game with lots of not dying and not getting replaced.

Also resolve to save more souls by destroying more books, but Gip think that a given. ;)

I probably have already a condemned soul so I'd rather keep my spellbook, thanks.

I've never understood that tendency you mages have to trap your magic in books. Magic should be free!

*Burns another scroll to feed her owl.

You don't just become the new regent because you killed the last one! That's not basis for a fair and equitable system of government! What if I just went around lopping off the head of every government official I didn't like? Well sir, I'd be able to dictate whatever I wanted. Up until some other blighter came up and cut my head off. Why, that would be anarchy! And anarchy VIOLATES YOUR PALADIN CODE!

I am going to play a Dwarf in some game this year in honor of my friends passing.

Valinor, are you a paladin now?

Well, that guys seemed kinda chaotic to me but, hey, all that «behead the leader and you become the leader» thing was their stupid rules and we try to behave according to the stupid rules of anywhere we go! And it wasn't easy, the leader was an ettin so we had to behead him TWICE!

Sir Maximilian Magnus, Holy Knight of Ivanda and Leader of the Order of the Noble Fox resolves not to cry again when publically representing his men and women.

...unfortunately, with the recent, tragic passing of the titular fox, this may prove difficult for the young man.

And don't even get me started on how hard it was to remove the last incumbent, Sir Harry the Hydra!

Oh, there was some kind... Ouch... of Hydra god who... ouch, who was not really a god, and... ouch!!
Can you stop smiting me? That hurts a lot!!! I am starting to think you are a dragon!
However, as Reya has said, all that beheading nonsense were their stupid rules and... OUCH!!! Not there! NOT THERE!!!
IT'S OVER!! YOU ARE A DRAGON!!!

Scarab Sages

Am I the only one who has already failed a new year resolution? It looked so easy...

You should be more thankful that I'm using my compliance stick! Imagine if I was using the enforcement broom! Then you'd have something to complain about! TAKE THAT! humiliation damage: 1d2 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

BET YOU REGRET FALLING NOW!

I bet he doesn't regret it as much as Liliana regrets having failed her resolution! *Laughs* Valinor is like a cat, he might fall but he always lands on his feet.

And what's up with all this smiting? Do you have reaching 365 smitings this year as a New Year resolution? I might be able to help. You can smite me if you want. But please be gentle, OK? I'm not a wicked girl... *wink* Or I could guide you to some evildoers that would probably deserve some smiting.

What would my New Year Resolution be? *thinks* Probably making New Year celebrations last until next New Year. Yes, that would be fine.

Jacinth Adalrich, paladin of Iomedae, resolves not to charge into battle without waiting for her allies or having an intelligent plan unless it's really, really necessary this time.

It's always necessary.

What's so bad about falling? Falling is good! Most of my people were turned into mad cannibal cultists of an evil god. And it was the best thing that could've happened to them!

You see, now they are angry. They are beaten dogs no longer! We are a pack of hungry wolves and we will reclaim our homeland! We are ready to go to war. And we are mad cannibal cultists no longer!

SOMETIMES FALLING IS THE BEST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN YOU!!!

Not if you fall repeatedly after multiple trip attempts... with a lot of people watching.

My resolution for this year is forgetting. Everything. And probably going home and not coming out until next year. Or next one.

Summon Tripping Kender Swarm IV!!!

A shiny shiny knight! I like it!!

What a beautiful pair of pants!

Cousins! Have you seen this sword? It's so keen he could harm himself with it! I will leave him this sausage instead. He seems hungry!!

If you jump on him he makes funny noises!!

Klong!
Klong!
Klong!

I'm late here.
My help is not needed.

Failed most of mine too... At least I hope the hut brought us to a warm and nice place this time or I will have failed them all.

Please, please, please, let us be at a tropical island this time.

Liberty's Edge

I'm sorry to break both your illusions and the fourth wall but you are playing something called «Reign of Winter». I wouldn't put much expectations on it.

And why is everybody falling here? I think someone has casted a grease spell on this thread.

My resolution for this year is... uhm... nah, forget about it. I'm just against planning anything in advance. Let's just see what this year brings to us.

I think a simple resolution is to have a good resolution for next year.

No need to rush into things as I have been gaming for a long time as I have just been reminded in another thread and my white hair and trembling hand are getting in the way of my dice rolling.
(humor is good)
