Can a Scabbard of Vigor be used for an Improvised Weapon?

I would think that the answer would be yes. Especially if the improvised weapon could fit into a scabbard like a sword sized piece of scrap metal or a broken table leg... but not a tree branch or a bar stool lol.

On the other hand, if you were creating the scabbard for a bar stool I don't see why it wouldn't apply. Roving the country with a bar stool on your back... always prepared for those taverns that have no available seats, to take a seat and catch your breath mid adventure or bash an enemy over the head with it because you excel at using improvised weapons lol.

No. Scabbard require weapons. Improvised weapons aren't weapons they are items that are used as a weapon.

Just like being able to use a Lance one handed while mounted doesn't qualify it as a one handed piercing weapon. Not the same thing.
