Help a Monty Haul GMs dream come true.

Advice

I will admit, I am a Monty Haul GM. I manage to rein myself in most of the time, but it is a natural predilection that I have to fight. But I'm going to be running a thing where crazy go nuts flinging out massively overpowered loot makes perfect sense for reasons. I love it!

The problem is, while some classes are easy to smash in the face with magical items that makes them giddy (Paladin? Holy Avenger, done.) others not so much. What do you get the bard that has everything? What does a Brawler dream of? So I need a bit of help coming up with super awesome stuff for each different class. The items need to be worth 40,000-100,000 gold to even come close to matching the items written into the thing I'm running, and the more unique the better.

So anyone have any ideas to help me out?

I tend to think that anything which helps with action economy is excellent, particularly at higher levels where that becomes the major check on power.

For spellcasters, that's basically Quicken metamagic rods. But you could probably create similar unique items to allow your players to trigger key abilities faster.

For martials, it is always nice to have things that allow one to actually pull off full attacks. So anything that helps them get close enough to full attack enemies is great. Maybe an item that allows a swift action to move X feet through space and time, not provoking AOOs, and can be used X times per day. Basically a super-hyped Quick Runner's Shirt.

Do you have a sense yet of what classes your characters will be playing? If so, it might be easier to offer more tailored advice.

Cubic Gates!

Have fun GMing that mess

I know for definite I will have a bard and a witch. I will probably have a cleric. But other two players insist on playing the 'whatever the group needs' game and have mentioned between them the possibilities of monk, brawler, inquisitor, rogue, fighter, paladin, and oracle.

As for Cubic Gates, the reason I can get away with this loot typhoon without mucking up anything is because of plane dependent shenanigans, so anything involving planar movement is right out. As is a deck of many things, because I don't want the game to explode/implode.

Manuals and tomes. give the Bard +4 inherent Charisma on top of whatever other bump items he has, Wisdom for Cleric. Lets their spell DCs increase a few more points, additional bonus spells, more power all around.

For a Cleric, how about a holy symbol of his or her deity which acts like a Wizard's arcane bond. Being able to pull any spell from their list once per day adds a ton of flexibility and problem solving power, without being game breaking in any way.

For the witch, maybe something like an 'eternally echoing skull'. Activated using a move action to Cackle, the skull will continue to Cackle (as per the hex) for 5 rounds without any further action. It could even follow the witch around kind of like an ioun stone.

Define "Super Awesome"

If you mean optimization then (including existing items as ideas):
Action economy. (Cackling Hag's Blouse)
Re-rolls. (Fate's Shears)
Anything that adds to stats (aforementioned tomes, belts, headbands).
Anything that adds to CL or spells/day. (Pearl of Power/Momenta Magica/Orange Ioun Stone)

Outside the box:
Something that grants casting (x/day) as an Su (ignores SR, no components).
Bard: Two types of bardsong at the same time.
Any item that grants a feat. (Limit this)

Super awesome as in unique items you almost never see, like a Rod of Lordly Might or a Sun Blade. Not just a higher level of the same item you could get at lower levels (like a cloak of resistance) but things that are interesting and memorable.

Fate's Shears are interesting, but far too low level for what I'm looking for.

Strange Aeons Spoilers:

Spoiler:
The players go in and out of the Dreamlands where OP loot falls from the sky (literally in one case) however it only exists in the Dreamlands and disappears when they wake up (it reappears when they re-enter the Dreamlands). So no matter how crazy the loot there gets, they only get those items in their dreams.

Use Mythic rules then. Have items that scale with the wielder's level.
If any items grant Mythic feats or Mythic class abilities you are really over the top.

Instruments of the Bards and/or a unique staff would be nice for a bard. Lyre of building, horn of blasting, horn of berserker summoning (which can then benefit from bardic music!), etc.

Stolen from a game, modify specifics to the power level you desire, but here's what I used:

Zenith Blade - +2 sword, 3/day as standard action it projects itself as a bolt of silver shards extending in a 60' line. The shards deal 6d6 electricity damage, reflex save DC 16 for half. In addition, the wielder appears in a space adjacent to the target furthest away that was struck by the bolt, the wielder chooses which space to appear in.

I gave it to a barbarian, he loved it. Maybe a little too much. He jumped way to the back of an enemy line and died. Anyways, if you like it, modify as suits your needs.

The fact that the bard player in real life collects replica dead faeries in jars means that she's getting a Skin Harp and will likely make squee noises when she does. But for a powerful prize, what staves would you suggest?

Luckily another of the players has settled on a Fighter, so several of the massively overpowered weapons already written into the book will suit him fine. Still trying to come up with a really memorable items for a cleric and witch, maybe a staff there as well, but then I don't want to just give staves to everyone.

Some of my players a completely new to the game so I don't want to complicate things too much for them with custom items, so I'd really rather stick to items they can find themselves in the Paizo books or on the pfsrd.

My players (because I'm just like you in my Monty Haul addiction) have mythic levels, items that are scaling with them and an Elder Ioun Stone. My invention: embeds, gives multiple bonuses and resonates with other Ioun Stones like a Wayfinder does!
