Ah, ok - hence the graphic.
I wish I'd found out about this Kickstarter a bit earlier to get a slightly better pledge level! Thanks to Rysky and Gug Swarm and this thread I didn't miss it altogether ...
Oh don't worry about the Black Friday pledge levels, I missed them too. And I got an email alerting me to when the Kickstarter started and pledged within the first few hours :3
And yay! You're welcome ^w^
Ha! I don't feel so bad then. I didn't do the first Kickstarter, I heard about this game about a year back, thought it looked good (but expensive) and then never really followed up on it. Glad I'm in now though.
Glad to see more people in :3
Yeah, I ended up in for the update. Then a slightly higher EB pledge level popped up. Man, I really need to play the actual game (I almost 'ran' a pbp of it).
Mmm, that Screaming God Pinup.
Double pinups. Nightmare Ram and Ramette. Cool art.
I wonder if the locked shadow shape is the Satan final form.
The Beast Hunter narrative sculpt looks sweet. Happy it's included in the Gambler's Chest.
*nods*
yeah, so far I'm really liking the Narrative Sculptures :3
And the Candy & Cola pinup actually has my interest this time, don't think I cared that much for the first one. Also that little fox thingy with the keys is too adorable.
Yeah, that fox is a cute selling point. I'd love to see a 3-D render to see how the 'gore' part of that mini turns out.
Hmm, good point. It will probably be up to each person to paint it on there.
Oblivion Mosquito?! I was hoping for an unveiled Satan, but cool nonetheless. The armor sets concepts look awesome.
The mosquito looks very cool.
*nods*
They do.
And the armor sets are some of the best yet.
Also digging the Mad and Mighty Striker.
and WOOT! $7.5 MILLION!
I'm not fond of the mosquito armor kits. KD:M has a stone-age-to-early-iron-age design, and they look like MMO medieval times armor.
Uh, a bunch of the higher end armors already looked like that, notably The Green Knight set.
Woot, Twitchgamenight won the challange!
Male and Female Manhunter Pinups!
Nice!
Does anyone know how big the pinup miniatures are? Same scale as the (human) game figures, or larger?
Same, though they do release larger ones.

Okay, going off that they seem to be a little bigger than the Survivors, but smaller than the humanoid monsters.

Male and Female Manhunter Pinups!
Hmm, I misread the challenge. Since they won we get the female Manhunter Pinup, but tonight they can go double or nothing in order to get the male Manhunter Pinup.
Hmmm....
Yeah. It looks like it was two challenges, one was to beat whichever monster they hunted. Then, if Twitch decided for double-or-nothing, they'd have to beat the Flower Knight.
Winning nets two pinups.
I don't know if they won or not.
Twitch absolutely murdered the flower knight. So it's double pinups for all!
Ooo, Pariah looks interesting, and apparently the game use figurine will be posed differently than the store one.
General note: Twitch vs Kingdom Death continues vs a L2 Gorm. Twitch victory gets 3 added rewards to the Gambler's Chest while a loss removes the Xmas reward from there.
Also, pinup Witch Disciple announced if you dig that sort of thing
Saw the concept for the Pinup Witch. Is there word on how Twitch did against the challenge?
A resounding defeat by the look of it.
I missed the middle of the fight, but between the start and the internet restoring, all but one of the survivors died.
Edit: I tell a lie. After a surprise ressurection from Poots, the Gorm was miraculously slain. More swag cometh. I'll update eventually with what Twitch's suggestions are.
Edit 2: So they were still spitballing a lot of suggestions when the stream ended. The only suggestion that seemed pretty set in stone was a Krampus Nemesis. The rest of the (serious) suggestions ranged from things like custom metal dice, a KD graphic novel, a Werewolf event/survivor, and more. Apperantely a poll will be set later for what the final 3 suggestions are.
Voted for a pack of more settlement events myself. More variety there would improve the game as a whole.
Tangentially related, but does anyone in the thread actually have the game? I'm honestly thinking of taking the plunge but the plunge is expensive and I'd rather not spend near a thousand bucks on some (admittedly very well made) paperweights. Most sites seem to rate the game highly and being playable solo is a nice plus, but does anyone have any personal opinions here about the gameplay/model assembly?
We ran one Hunt and settlement event and had fun :3
As for the figurines they're absolutely gorgeous, but I've been too scared to put any together >_>
Yeah, as a guy who's never really done hobbying before, I'm pretty leary about assembly let alone the nightmare that painting surely is. Last thing I'd want is to do is something like accidentally exacto some monster's head in half or something...
I don't have the game and have never played it, but most reviews I've read have been positive. I'm mainly getting it for the figures (I enjoy painting, though don't get much time for it). I'm assuming (hoping) they won't be more difficult to put together than the plastic Malifaux figures, which are a bit of a nightmare to assemble, but do-able with patience, relatively steady hands, and putting up with occasionally gluing your fingers to the model...
You can check out the fan site, Vibrant Lantern, if you'd like to see the assembly of a few figures. As with the Kingdom Death sculpts, some may be NSFW.
Hmm
Cursed Spear is kinda eh..
GRYPHON!!!
Kingsman Pinup!!!
Father & Son Dawwww
Super Survivors? Hmm...
Pinup Witch Disciple made me lol
I'm still on the fence (based on the price and what my wife will say) about getting this. Is there a link with better pics of each of the sculpts separating what is in the base set level vs high levels vs add-ons?
2 people marked this as a favorite.

There's the Vibrant Lantern overview of the 1.5 Kickstarter.
There's an unofficial pledge calculator that may help with determining pledges.
These might help.
They brought back the pledge calculator? Fukkin sweet!
Also, if you're going to take the plunge with one of the big rewards (Ancient Lantern and Frogdog) be very aware that Frogdog only offers an update pack and not the actual full game. Very very easy to miss that.
Black Knight expansion! But I already have the figs from the store >_>
And ooo, might actually get the Pinup.
I like the "inspiration" armor sets.
