Rules Questions

Is there anywhere where it says how many uses per day you have of the blessings? It's omitted for some reason. I highly doubt it is unlimited. They really assume you would just use the Warpriests 1/2 level + Wis.

Silver Crusade

Yep, aside from the level at which you gain them it's exactly the same as the Warpriest ability.

I know it's a ok archetype on an ok class. They really should rewrite the blurb of the ability. Because as written it never states it use is limited like the war priest, just the blessings effect. I really disappointed a player in our group because he gave up an ability that has no use limit to gain a move that does, when as written it never limits it.

We erred on the side of caution and put the 1/2 level + wis use in there.

Not really necessary as you really shouldn't have assumed the ability is unlimited. If it's not unlimited on its main class (Warpiest), why would it be unlimited on an archetype of another class?

A few reasons Hunter's Bond is a passive pet or and unlimited party buff that has some self limiting effects.

This replaces that feature, while not granting the "actual" War Priest class ability. It just allows Hunter's Bond to use war priest blessings instead. It doesn't give a full ability like Sacred Bond or Smite Evil. It lets you pick Two blessings and they scale at Ranger -3 War Priest levels. That's it, that's all it says.

I could see the overall frustration with the wording and the ruling. It's not granting the WP blessing ability it's giving the ability to select WP blessings at a slower rate.

One aspect of blessings that is based on level is uses per day, so if we know what level the blessings are used at, we know daily uses.

Uh, it does give you the Blessings ability and it does scale at your level, not -3. You get them later, but you use your full level.
