Mummy's Mask cover art

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

Will the Wayne Reynolds box cover art make an appearance on the blog before the Mummy's Mask cycle is completed? All the previous PACG titles have images for the box cover.

There's never been any particular plan to put every cover image on the blog—if we've done that so far, it's by coincidence rather than by plan. The next couple blogs, at least, don't have any real reason to showcase that art.

Also, the MM cover is by Tyler Jacobson. not Wayne Reynolds. (The adventure decks use the cover art from their respective RPG Adventure Path volumes, so we commission the base set covers from the artist who did those. Wayne does the covers for only about half of the APs.)

Apologies for having Wayne Reynolds on the brain. I had to go back through the old blog posts to see if there was a cover image released for Rise of the Runelords (there was).

It's good to know the covers were just a happy coincidence. I thought the trend was intentional, so I used the covers as a shout-out for the next set in the Pathfinder Card Game series.

Also, Tyler's art is awesome.

Indeed it is. I've had the opportunity to examine the work of many of Paizo's artists, and it's uniformly excellent. I remind my RPG friends of the CUP and why they should prefer Pathfinder over other game systems.
