everything's colossal. do you want more specifics? if so i need an era and region.
we are mainly in the shackles. as far as era, im not sure. in our fleet we have a felucca and 2 frigates.
i wanted to find a nice, clean size comparison chart that i could blow up and print out just for reference.Bandw2 |
first off those are both really vague terms, so the descriptions i can give are vague as well.
well, feluccas are single deck ships with 1-3 masts and are primarily used in sailing along rivers or seas(not too great on open ocean as they're not very wide). they're small and only have the top unprotected deck, probably unarmed or only a single gun. maybe 50 feet.
Frigates are a different affair entirely, 2-3 masts and 2-3 decks, wide berths and wide sails, designed for speed. plenty of cargo space and should have space to sleep in a rooms for all the crew. Only pirates tended to remove all the walls on the decks to reduce weight and increase speed, so a standard frigate should have rooms for all the crew. French frigates during the 1790's were 135 ft long for comparison's sake.
I'll say again, all ships in PF are colossal.
