Skynet doesn't need time travel to beat high level casters, it keeps an army in reserve for just this purpose. What did you think the Machine Armory was for, if not cleaning up demiplanes set by lvl20 wizards?

I thought they were there to serve as high tech flies to the Prismatic Wall fly zappers endlessly and permanently spammed throughout timeless planar quality refuge demiplanes. Golems or get out.

(The golems fight the dozens or hundreds of Summon Monster IX guys stacked between Prismatic Walls.)

You really should just use a Wish or Disjunction to dispel the demiplane, which is why you make a honeycomb of portal linked demiplanes for redundancy, and create them from planar metropolises that have the means to object when their contents are ejected into their jurisdiction. I hear Dis has some nice rental properties adjoining heavily armed buildings.

Taking things even farther into sci-fi, what if they're guarding a disjuction cannon capable of destroying all demiplanes linked to the target?

LOL if your real demiplane treasury house and ultimate clone refuge isn't disconnected and almost never visited.

We're talking about an organization with the capability of searching the astral plane for what it wants. It's not inconceivable that there would be some way of tracing the soul to any clones it intents to use.

Also, regarding entry:

One can enter the astral plane from any point on the material plane, and vice versa. This means that the entire volume of the material plane must be touching the astral plane. Since the astral plane also touches other planes, this is only possible if the Astral has higher dimensionality than the material.

Since (most) demiplanes have the same number of dimensions as the material plane, it must also be possible to enter any point within them from the astral (think of a circle in an ocean, all points are accessible) Hence, a force that locates a demiplane on the astral can enter wherever they choose, including on top of the wizard, soul trapping ready.

Side note: several of the outer planes share the dimensionality of the astral. Their 3-d surface is easily accessible, but you would need to go through it to reach the interior layers. This is why you can't plane shift to the 9th layer of hell, the first 8 are in the way.

Mind Blank and Private Sanctum are eternal on a timeless demiplane. Only gods or artifacts need apply.

And you can plane shift to internal layers AFAIK. Hell's Rebels features a trap that plans shifts the victim to Nessus.

The Wizard also dumped Con, because we've already established he's an idiot, and so only has PFS average HP of 126, giving him only 2 rounds to escape.

This made me laugh.

Although if the wizard really is an idiot (Intelligence=3) then they will be no challenge since they can't cast spells.

The beauty of it is, all of the above is without the Wizard casting ANY spells.

That is how slim of a chance a level 1 party has against a level 20 character. He literally dumped all his physical stats and could be Feebleminded, and with the odds stacked completely in their favor he STILL has a chance of thwarting them.
