Magus chill touch and two weapon fighting

Rules Questions

If I had a level 4 magus with the two weapon fighting and quick draw feats, could I use spell strike and spell combat to cast chill touch, with the free attack to deliver the first charge, deliver the second charge with my normal attack, then on my second round quick draw another weapon and deliver the other two charges with two weapon fighting?

I know this would be suboptimal, but it seems fun and flavorful for a necromancy focused magus I was considering.

Edit: before it comes up, spell combat requires a free hand, spell strike does not.

Yes, also look into mind blade.

This is something that you can do, yes.

However, take note that TWF does not work with spell combat, unless you have the mindblade archetype that Johnnycat pointed out, and even then it doesn't come online till mid game.

Because of this, when you're doing most of your class feature stuff, you'll be wasting your feats, and when you're using your feats, you'll be doing mostly not-magus things.

It just requires the foresight to do a lot of pre-battle buffing.

If you were planning on doing a lot of twfing with Chill Touch or rimed Frostbite, an investment in Quickdraw and TWF should work for your character.

How much time can one reasonably expect to have for prebattle buffing time? It's being pretty optimistic to expect that you'll be the ones starting battles at your convenience most of the time.

If you are playing a dex build magus with maxed ranks in stealth, a trait giving you stealth as a class skill, and happen to be the party scout?

More often than not, unless the GM is drastically inflating the perception skill of most encounters.

<--- my magus has a +22 stealth at 9th level, when not invisible or pretending to be a goblin.

Thanks so much for the help

Actually - if you don't want to deal with quickdraw & spell combat issues while going TWF, you should have your second weapon be armor spikes. You still can't use it in the same round as Spell Combat, but it still keeps your hand free for casting and you don't have to deal with quickdraw.

At most I see 1 round of self buffing. You win initiative, you move into a good position and buff, wait for enemy to come to you and get a full attack against them. but this one round isn't guaranteed, so I'd suggest not being to reliant on needing a buff up to work.
