If Mavaro were unlocked for OP, which deck would you want to use?

Subject says it all... If Mavaro were unlocked for OP in Season of the Mummy (I know they're not gonna call it that, but it's much more convenient for my poor brain to associated the season with the set), and they were taking votes for which class deck to use, which would you choose?

Obviously, it couldn't be one of the recent ones that have had absolutely none of a given card (no armor in Monk's, no weapons OR armor in Witch, no spells in Barbarian, etc). I'd also eliminate Alchemist, for its weight towards folk who don't banish cards with the Alchemical trait... Cleric and Paladin focus too much on heavy armors for my taste... Oracle, druid, bard, and inquisitor leap to my mind first.

Or would you have the player pick their deck from any available, to be written on their first chronicle sheet?

He has been. It is the reward for AD6 for Season of the Runelords.

Reward:
Each player unlocks the ability to play Mavaro from the Mummy’s Mask Base Set using the Witch Class Deck.

Hmm. Well, James, your assessment of good decks for Mavaro lines up pretty well with mine, I can confirm that. I'd encourage people who really want to play around with Mavaro in OP to potentially be patient to really unlock his full potential.

They confirmed this was a mistake and will be changed.

Actual Class Deck for Mavaro:

We will be modifying the reward to give Mavaro the Inquisitor Deck instead of the Witch Deck (and to tell you he comes from the Add-On Deck, not the Base Set).

Actually, I think I saw that topic. Not sure how I failed to remember it. (*sigh*) A mind is a terrible thing.

Thanks for finding that post, Doppelschwert.

I would love to be able to pick from multiple class decks, to tell the truth; I don't know how feasible it is, but something like picking the weapons from 1 class deck, spells from another, etc.

You would probably have to balance it a bit.

Thanks for contributing to the game :)

For completeness sake, here is the actual link to the content of my spoiler.

EDIT:
By the way, you were posting this back in the other thread as well:

I had a wacky proposal for the occultist for OP, but I don't want to go into it until you guys see the magnificence that is Mavaro for yourself.

So, feel free to remind me about it next month? ;)

I guess I'll take the chance to remind you about your proposal now :P

That sounds fairly crazy, mechanically speaking. Best to only use one deck. Though I'd still back the option to CHOOSE the deck at CharGen rather than only having the one.

Inquisitor works out well, if you look at the deck list. Good weapons, good items, not a huge number of spells but that's alright I think.

I concur. It'll be tough without the whole game box to play with, but I think that's the deck I'd pick, anyway.
